My 2 polypads have lasted over 5 years with a LOT of use on multiple horses.

As someone else said, depends on the horse and the saddle as to whether I use them.

or purchase a saddle BLANKET (aka western) pad bag.

For shows, I have a rubbermaid plastic "thingie" which is just big enough for 3 pads - hard to describe, but it is a clear plastic container...
