I won't touch red meat - reminds me of a slaughter house. Makes me nauseous to even look at it. I don't eat chicken/turkey either - basically the same reason. I've seen too many photos/videos of what...

I hate mangers and would never buy a trailer with them. I'm not a fan of slants at all. How big is the horse you are considering? Bigger horses tend to have issues with slants since the stalls...

Saw the ad yesterday and it's to the point - hopefully some will see it and use it. Hard to watch as you realize so many people are in that situation. :(

I hear ya. I'm in NH and we got a little over two feet with the last storm and more is coming. Just no place to put it.

It was -8 this morning when I was at the barn. Then in the low 30's and...

Sure lots of people do it but no way in hell would I. A mini in a crash turns into a 250 lb flying object and that is a recipe for disaster.

Another vote for Chlorexidine. Only thing that worked on my old TB for rain rot and scratches.

Honda Ridgeline - my father had one and loved it (& he's pretty picky when it comes to vehicles). It's not big and it's not going to tow much at all but it's a decent small truck.

I pulled my old TB's front shoes when he was in his early 20's - he was a pasture pet at that point and his turnout was soft grass - not rocky, etc. We pulled his hind shoes long before that. He had...

That makes no sense whatsoever. You never want the majority of the weight on the rear axles/tires. My trailer guys (who do required State inspections, sell cargo and utility trailers, and do any...

Same here - I leave the front slightly higher so the water drains off of it. But I never leave it fully up as I don't want extra weight on the rear axles - you want it as level as possible.

My 1/2 ton Ram is a 3:92 - I prefer to not go less than that (though my last 3/4 ton had a 3:73). Sure it affects gas mileage but it's a truck and never once did I consider MPGs. :)

I pay about $26 for the TC Omega Max 25 lb bag - I feed my mare a cup a day so it lasts for quite a long time. So much easier feeding this stuff. The feed stores in my area all keep it in stock so...
