Is he stomping at flies on the hot days? It could cause some swelling in an area that has had a previous injury. I've had a horse strain a tendon sheath from stomping at flies.
I've never had this problem; but, the items I have consigned in the past just sat there and never sold. I eventually took everything back and sold them myself fairly quickly.
My neighbors will shoot off their guns, and my horses have gotten used to the noise and just ignore it. I'm glad, because I was hacking my young horse in the field last week, and the neighbors...
I pm'd you.
To really get my arena level, I need to take the york rake to the ring, which involves the tractor. That is done 3-4 times a year. To maintain the ring in between, I put a couple cinderblocks on...
Ditto this, separate now.
Yes, I would start the series again to make sure antibody levels are high enough.
I PM'd you.
Micah, excellent post. Although I too would love to see her back in the saddle again some day, I realize it may not happen. I do hope she is one of those people who in time you never realize they...
Ironically, I never had any problems with the old ewarmbloods. But I have gotten several warnings from my antivirus from the new site.
Just got another code - YFS30 expires 4/30/10.
Good luck to everyone! I will not be riding (hoping to ride at the April benefit show), but I will be scribing. I hope you can read my handwriting! :)
I usually do mine mid-late March. In the spring I give West Nile, EWE, Tetanus, Flu/Rhino and Rabies. I also get my coggins done in the spring.
ETA: The AAEP defines the core vaccines as Rabies,...
Agree w/JB - Keep them moving after the first day, watch for swelling, and gentle hosing/cleaning to keep the incision open so it can drain. I also keep track of the temp just in case.
I am in Catharpin, VA. Bill is coming out Friday 3/26. You are welcome to come out, and I can let him know there will be two more to be adjusted.
ETA: Bill does need to do the adjustments at his...
Well I've managed to answer my own question! Just spoke with Bill, and he has recently gotten the machine to adjust the Hennig trees. :) So it won't need to be shipped out after all.
Yes, Bill works on all of my saddles as well. But he also has to send the Hennigs out to be adjusted.
Is there someone in the DC metro area that can adjust Hennig trees? I'd rather not ship the saddle if I don't have to.
Maryanna, thanks so much for the update. We are all hoping for Courtney's speedy and full recovery!
From Dressage News Network: The Palm Beach Dressage Derby established a Courtney King-Dye Medical Assistance Fund to help cover costs of airlifting & treatment for Courtney. Checks can be made out...
Felicitas Von Neumann-Cosel - she is in Woodbine.
I've used Hallmark for about 15 years and have been very happy with them. I have mortality and major medical on my horses, and have never had any problems with claims.
Both of my two are lacking in the chrome department as well. One is a dark seal brown, almost black, and has just a tiny spot on his forehead. His dam had lots of chrome. The other is in a plain...
Two of ours are undersaddle also. Very easy to start, and very willing. I've also noticed varying amounts of a skunk tail and roaning around the flanks on several Freestyle youngsters. Does...
I just got an email with another code: FSCFEB10 expires 2/25/10.
