I'm not deliberately misinterpreting anything, nor trying to be rude. I simply disagree with this statement that you made in your first post:

My mare tends to have a seasonal cough in the Spring/Summer. We found last year that a syringe (30cc) of respi-free before riding worked really well. We've tried several things over the years and...

To say that most horses are capable of GP (be it good or bad) is nuts. Sure they may display a few of the movements in the field but to be able to compete at that level, I don't believe most can do...

    FEI Freestyle Qualification ?

Does earning a 60% at PSG qualify a horse for an I1 Freestyle or do you need a 60% at I1? The FEI rules sort of read like PSG can qualify you but it's a little unclear.

    Regionals ?

Would you question the scores if a judge at E gave a rider a 64% and the judge at C scored the same test an 86%? This is a GAIC Championship class.
  9. Insurance recommendations with payment plans?

Hi! Do any of you have an insurance company that you can recommend that offers monthly payment plans? I'm looking for mortality and major medical.
    Thanks!

Completely agree! My friend and her horse work their butts off, so it's not for lack of trying. We definitely celebrated and there were tears when she got a 60% at PSG! Her horse just does not...

I love showing but I'm not rich and would rather spend the money on training and going to regionals than piling up tons of scores. I'm going for my last score for our bronze this month and if it...

Really???? Does she have a trainer? Does she take lessons? Does she spend her time and money to actually show and get feedback from judges? I think that all shows that she is trying to improve.

Exactly Justice. I doubt this rider was scoring in the high 50's at 4th and low 60's at 3-3 and "jackhammering" on her horses back. Not to mention just because she has a schoolmaster horse to learn...

How do you know what the judge's comments were if she doesn't even share her scores with you? I'm just saying it's not unreasonable in many cases and I would focus more on myself and not worry so...

Also some people don't have uber-talented horses and are very happy to score around a 60. If your horse gets a 6 on gaits then 55-65 would be pretty reasonable and would probably be your range as...
