So happy for you, Fred!!
A true testament to her sire.
Congratulations to all involved, and best wishes for a safe and successful adventure!
Nicely said, Anna. :)
They ARE flying! Yay! Some are just hatched, but others are ready to go-- good sign for a second batch :)
Wow! We're on round one here, some quite new, some pretty far along, but no flying lessons yet! Multiple nests in all 4 barns, so a good showing this year.
Lower the water bucket - might take the fun out of it..
If you are so inclined, perhaps you could contact New Bolton as well as some of the bigger clinics in NY and make them aware of the mare? There is also a FB page for nurse mares/orphan...
Fred - my heart breaks for you. I have no words, but know the pain of such a loss all too well. My deepest condolences and the tightest hug, I am so very sorry.

Wonderful!! Congratulations :)

They've arrived!! I heard their unmistakable chatter this morning as I sipped my coffee in the barn. Yeah! First pair, 4 days earlier than last year...
Sending lots of good thoughts and healing wishes your way!!! C'mon little girl!!
Sending jingles and positive thoughts! I was in a similar position last year, with a sad outcome, but have seen many, many NICU successes!!
I wish you the best of luck!
He was a lovely stallion. I have no idea if these numbers are current, but worth a try!
Thanks for sharing! :)
The beautiful flicker is now at the local Audubon rehab center. He was on the fence this morning(18 degrees) and allowing my gelding to nose him around, I was able to scoop him right up without any...
