When I broke mine it was in several pieces - basically shattered. It would have never healed properly without surgery. I had a great ortho who specialized in shoulders. No pain post surgery. :) ...

I shattered mine and was riding again 8 weeks post surgery. I still have the plate in as it doesn't bug me. Good luck!
The only time it seemed to really work was during the hack classes.:sigh::mad:
