Whoa, on a tennis court? Adorable pony though.
Hmm, seems to be the satellite crowdsource search; have to see what the tanker finds (if anything).
This would actually be nice if it were true; one could assume the passengers were ok. But somehow i doubt this source.
I lift a little, but more for putting my arms and upper
Body thru a range of motion i don't normally do. I sit at a desk all day, so i want to do things that open my chest and back. At the barn...
Very interesting--had not heard about this crash.
Damn, i'm learning way more about plane crashes this week than i kinda wanted to know. :(
I would think the passengers would have to be incapacitated--how do you get cel phones away from however many people had them? Surely *someone* would have been able to get off a text or SMS yelling...
I regret that i have but one thumbs up to give this post.
Well, i don't know--for at least a couple days they would be assuming it was an accident. But yeah, we've grown pretty paranoid in the US since 9/11.
From what I understand, no cel towers are picking up the devices (which would make sense if the plane's in the middle of an ocean somewhere).
Re: the zig zag path and altitude changes-- i seem to recall a little private jet that was on auto pilot and lost cabin pressure and everyone on board asphyxiated, and the plane kept on flying til it...

I suspect indy and i are near each other; i'm making threatening noises at poopco whenever the lights flicker. got the phone and bberry on the chargers; ipad's next.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless whatsis. Predicted the end halfway thru and figured i'd be more comfortable napping in my bed than a theatre seat. (One of the old non reclining ones. ;) )
Bryn mawr? ;)
Yeah, i prefer the beeb for int'l news.
Back when i used to fly into DCA regularly, you could always tell the business flyers from the tourists: the tourists would all be oohing and ahhing out the windows while the regulars would be...
Neither the xinhua news agency nor china daily have this story; the image is from sunday. Haven't about a zillion planes/ships been all over the area that the image shows since then? I'd have...
OMG the little prop planes--! some of those takeoffs were pretty hairy, too.
there's a barred owl that hangs out down by the gas pipeline--VERY cool. :)
do NOT google "crabbing landings." :)
(watched a clip of a b52 doing it once; holy buckets. )
o'hare to seatac; no fewer than 6 children under the age of four within arm's reach of my seat. one or more screamed* for 4 out of 4.5 hours of the flight. the guy across the aisle and i were the...
God no.
