This mare REALLY caught my eye!!
What a lovely face and kind eye. I'm such a sucker for chestnut and gaited...she looks like a Walker to me. I hope someone snaps her up!!!!!
-
Someone NEEDS that Appy on page one!! The one that Selina is pulling a tarp over and then wrapping him in it.:yes:
Anybody need a steady-Eddie?
-
OH, so maybe I'm NOT the only one! I figured that with posters commenting on the horses and no one asking for details, you guys could read the descriptions. :p
-
Does anyone see written descriptions of the horses in the grids? The AC4H website ALWAYS looks like crap if you view it with Mozilla, but, I've always been able to read the descriptions before -- or...

That would be Hans, Dog of the Border Patrol, a story about a Boxer. :D:yes::cool:

While a horse *can* be very expensive to maintain, particularly if you participate in certain disciplines or show extensively, many people fall into the category of keeping expenses down and avoiding...

Wait, aren't those Majjjjjjjjjikaaaaal Gypsy Vannicorns??
(Now why does that sound like something sold on late night TV to get rid of corns on your feet?)

Are you sure you mean Equissentials and not some other company? They do have a cell phone pocket available on their breeches -- check out their website. I bought a pair a couple of years ago with a...

It's called Veterans Sweepstakes at specialty (single breed shows) dog shows. ;) There are also Veterans classes, which are pretty much the same, except for the lack of prize money (never...
-
Clint -- I wasn't blaming you for commenting on it (nor MustangTrailRider, for that matter -- I agree the THEORY sounds good), just explaining how it actually works in real life. NOT a happy...

IT IS A HORRIBLE IDEA FOR DOGS AND CATS!!!!!!!!! What happens in practice is that idiotic numbskulls shove their dogs/cats into a containment area (box) WITH OTHER STRANGE ANIMALS!!!!!!
Just...

Look at http://www.ac4h.com/BrokerOwnedProgram.htm and http://www.ac4h.com/ac4havailablehorses.htm. Great rescue group to work with and Christy is very good at evaluating a horse and will give you...

Ah, beat me to it, Tif-ann. ;)
*Pending* usually means that there's an application in on this horse, but payment has not yet been made, I believe.
-
Actually quite common at New Holland!! TONS of great, sound, sane, well-trained horses go through that auction EVERY SINGLE WEEK for cheap prices. Keep an eye on the broker-owned page on the AC4H...

Personally, I avoid flying a dog if at all possible (two days' drive is definitely preferable!!!) if the dog has to go in cargo. Unless the puppy (or adult dog) can go in the cabin, of course.

This was posted on the *Free* CL board.
SIGH....
-
You wrote that you currently have one full-time and several part-timers working for you. Would it be possible to have only one or two full-time people yet pay them more since you'd have fewer...

Wonder if they'd be interested in this CL ad...? Post #310.

OR, maybe we should send nonsensical responses like the one in...

Ummm...xtian donkeys?! Now that's just scary!!!
Here's another installment from CL:
And, for the oddest REPLY to a CL ad, this is an actual email I received (I posted a nice pair of...

Filly clearly feels much better! She's figured out the milk bar and got a bit more in her tummy.
She's been rubbing her face on mom's leg and now she's discovering how to move those legs more...
-
I think she so too (might be in trouble). She really needs more milk.
The guy just went back in and is rubbing her, I guess trying to get her to get up. :(
-
Before they left, someone took the wall padding/tarp and covered over the gap between the gate where the feed bucket is and the wall so the filly can't get trapped in there. She tied the tarp to the...
