This makes a lot of sense...he has gotten very attached to two of the mares in the field. I think I will give it a solid month, and reassess the situation with the BO. I hate moving him around,...

We moved on November 17th, and he was separated from the herd for about a week. So maybe he is just insecure about his place, etc, because he was separated from everyone for a while?

I recently moved my 5 yo OTTB gelding to a new farm, and I have been having some problems with him being VERY herd bound.
Previous to moving, he was on 24 hour turnout with about 5 other geldings...

The TC Senior has 10% fat, and the Complete has 12% fat. I just keep reading that TC is a higher quality feed than Legends, and he was pretty happy on his Senior so I guess we will try that again....

I WAS feeding Senior until the vet suggested switching him to the TC Complete formula. So looks like we are going back to Senior with the alfalfa/timothy & flax. Thanks everyone!

Had another episode last night, much worse than before. Scoping and bloodwork being scheduled today...fingers crossed that we find something that's fixable. Poor guy, this is no fun.

Boots for a horse that interferes

Just wanted to get some input about boots (or wraps maybe?) for a horse that interferes. He is a 5 yo OTTB and we are just starting our dressage training. I have never used boots for flatwork before,...
