Sounds like a horse that might be able to be a jumper.
Not being suitable and happening to be a certain breed does not equal breed discrimination. It means it's a horse that is unsuitable for...
It's hardly limited to Facebook. You're a regular reader of this forum, it's a regular occurrence here as well, as you know.
Mob mentality is prolific on the internet.
I was referring to making a circle while on course. Still jumping all the jumps, but technically with a refusal.
Filling and purposely losing, either by not doing the test or by making a circle. I had the same impression that you did, too, though.
My bolding for emphasis. Am I understanding correctly that it takes you up to 45 minutes before you can get any productive work done with this horse? If that's correct, then you need to change up...
When I did it, my entry fee was paid for (and I usually catchrode a horse for it, but that's not always the case). That's it.
Why is he eating Complete? That's a high performance sweet-feedy food. That gives horses a lot of energy; there's a reason that it's used a lot by eventers and jumper riders.
I would switch him...
Er, nicotine is a naturally occurring toxin that also is a teratogen (capable of causing birth defects) and there's inconclusive data about whether it is a carcinogen, not to mention nicotine...
As MHM said, the splints won't help, but I've been told that "man-made" flaws like splints are not penalized as harshly as something they're born with. Whether that's true or not, I wouldn't...
I don't have any personal experience with doing them, but my horse did them pretty successfully before I got her. She is nicely put together, but is long-backed and has a bowed tendon. It didn't...

For real, Cabaret SK, if my shirt will fit you, you're welcome to it.
I love, love, love Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I grew up with them, and once DH and I are at a point where our lives are more settled, we'll be looking into getting one.
Totally agree!! If your saddle fits so badly that you need a thick memory foam half pad, perhaps you should save the hundreds of dollars on the pad and get a saddle that's properly fitted.
I guess sometimes for team selection, there are trials - USA did that last time around with trials down at WEF, followed by the observation events, but I'm not sure they're doing that this time...
I thought it was funny. I'll bite. Don't tell my trainer... but I just bought a helmet with [subtle] bling on it. (#amateurlife?)
Do you mean on this specific subforum? I don't think showjumping has started yet.
Agreed with mfglickman - and it's worth noting that I think her daughter may be on the earlier side of when a kid earns spurs (in terms of how long they've been riding/needed spurs) because her...
This! Easier to hold than laced reins and more aesthetically pleasing (to some).
Nonsense, haven't you watched Monty Python? Every sperm is sacred.
Sunflower, we will have to agree to disagree.
Ladyj said it better than I could have.
Edit: Forget it. Not worth it.
It hasn't... someone is being a tich overly dramatic ;)
