the vet did mention that putting poultice on it would help keep the flys aways from it.
I thought about doing that tonight because I won't be able to get there in the morning.

How long before I start to see some healing?
I don't have buckets in the stall. The feeder is next to the waterer and I suppose it is possible that he got his head stuck between them or over the...

I think spending $700 on 1 waterer is foolish, but we obviously have different opinions.
I can honestly tell you that every show barn I have been at since I was 12 has automatic waterers that...

I am fine with using buckets out in the pastures. I am only looking at automatics for the stalls.
I am fine with repairs. I am also fine with having to replace a cheaper waterer every couple of...

So for $500 I get one waterer from Nelson.
I don't have extreme cold and I plan to have a auto shut off valve at each waterer.
So while I understand the Nelson is great, the price difference...

As I said, I don't have 200 plus to spend on 1 waterer.

Progressive contacted me today. He said that the growth plates in the fetlock area close between 6 and 8 months of age.
He said it is probably some kind of injury like he kicked something.
My...

By looking at a lot of photos online, it looks like most occurs on the inside of the fetlock. His is on the outside and the inside looks normal.

I just found 27 MD panels, 10 of them sliding doors for $150 each in fantastic shape.
So yes, there are deals out there!
No shopping for horses? That could be a whole other issue! But then...

I wanted him to be my First Year green horse so bad. Everyone laughed at me because of his color.
I am telling you, he would be the cutest damn horse out there in the junior hunters....

I am not sure how much he grew but I started to notice his neck looking really wimpy and bony shoulders and then all of a sudden his butt just shot up in the air. Since June he really has gotten a...

I just emailed Don, so hopefully I will hear back soon.
I wrapped it today with a standing wrap just in case it might be something else.
I get so paranoid with his legs.
I am glad it isn't...
