I'm in much the same boat and am diligently searching for a light, pleasant version of egg salad. The throwback version from my childhood (for sandwiches) was heavy on the mayo, which is too greasy...

One vet does.
One vet doesn't.
I suppose it's just an individual thing. Fingers crossed that yours says yes!!

Unfathomable.
Only by the grace of God does that little girl not have her head bashed in, chasing around the backend of a horse.
Oh my goodness. :(

I wish we could!!
The weather hasn't been our friend lately (as in, for the last few YEARS), but someday I'd like to give it a go.
My hay guy had a pasture catch on fire last year...

Chaila, it sounds like you've got the situation well thought out and in hand. Ride because you love it. Get refreshed. Enjoy your time. And be quite certain that you are very, very "present" in...

I also did ours cheaply by semi-cheating. I kept an eye out for sale carpets at Target and got one that fits almost perfectly for like $20 -- just vacuumed the old carpet and plopped the new rug...

I'm hopeful that this first Annual Run Out of Propane on Christmas Eve doesn't recur. (We finished the tank two months earlier than usual -- maybe because of the new showers in both bathrooms? ...

It did not take 1000 years to read. If you read fast, give it a week or so.
Its construction is intriguing and it is a hard read in a Ulysses kind of way. Sometimes you're like WTH?!?! ...

So, the tall mean kid with the coonskin-ish cap? You know, the bully?
My husband was his doppelganger at that same age. We all still start laughing hysterically the first time we see him in the...

A $$ check is the standard gift. I put it toward horse or house stuff every year and tell her what she bought me. ;) Makes us both happy. My MIL is a super nice person, I really lucked out!!

There's a baby on my boob (who used to be on my bladder). :D Luckily he asked for chocolate milk for Christmas, so I am compelled to eat chocolate ice cream for breakfast.
Christmas blessings on...

Our barn is 1/4 mile from the house. It's pretty far, too far to walk out to check on horses quickly or easily at night, if that's a concern for you. We really like it, though, and it suits the lay...

...when barbecue grills come custom-welded onto their own bumper-pull trailers, and are often seen being pulled down the road. Because you know, you gotta be prepared when you need to have a big ole...

...when a truck on the side of the road with its hazards blinking is more than likely an old guy chasing a loose cow.....and whoever's driving by is likely to pull over, hop out, and help.

If the new trainer helps get the horse sold, pay her the commission.
Then write the old trainer a genuine note of thanks for her earlier help and general friendship, and get her a really nice...

I used to enjoy conditioning three polo ponies named Willie, Waylon, and Jerry Jeff, though always felt their pasturemate Nobody might develop a complex because of his sad name.
