Shoulder fore/shoulder in will help isolate the inside hind leg, which will make the horse stronger behind.
Flyracing - me too! Glad I'm not the only one ;)
Good luck HarrisonEQ!
Try http://www.teamveventing.com/, Clare Vander Woude. I'm not sure if there are lesson horses available at the barn she is based out of, but it is worth contacting her.
I'd suggest cutting the ad down as well - but expect to get 10-12K max based on the information shared, during this time of year, and this area.
Were rads taken of his feet?
I agree...having been subject to his behavior while working in the D box, I suspect this has been going on for years. Time to come to an agreement if he wants to see the funding.
A friend of mine just purchased and imported him to the U.S. :)
TopLine Equestrian Center in Hampshire & Jen Dougherty's barn in Elgin are also good choices.
Thanks so much for your replies! This is all excellent information :)
I am looking for ideas of things eventers would like to see at an Area Annual Meeting - what would make you travel to attend it (whether or not you are winning a year end award)?
Though I'm disappointed to not start the 2015 season in Florida this year, these are the current goals I want to reach with my horse Asti:
-continue to build strength behind and work on...

Thanks for this, AJ. Based on what's outlined, I saw many deviations at both Novice and Training this year...
I prefer not to do that either, but I also don't expect to see Preliminary questions on a Training course. For a horse that just moved up to Training, I shouldn't have to school the level...
I completely agree. There is much value in using the hybrid divisions, we just need USEA and organizers to get on board!
Yes, you are lucky to have had the opportunity to prepare for questions like that - although it still doesn't address the issue that Training has crept into Preliminary territory by using them.
Funny you should mention the Head of the Lake...it was used on both the BN and N courses at Midsouth last weekend, with the Novice having a log right before the water and a steep downhill entrance,...
If the rules changed and a NQR or completion at the hybrid level was required to move up to the next level, there would be more entries ;).
I cannot even count the number of times I've been...
This is an excerpt of my email to USEA:
Why are the hybrid levels (T/N, P/T) not utilized more? Is it an issue with organizers, or do they overlook that this is an option? In my opinion, it's a...
I did a rating last weekend for Horsemasters as well as PC kids, and I have to tell you the Horsemasters took it far more seriously and were very well prepared. It was refreshing to see that the HM...
I'm a big fan of my TSF girth, saving up now for the dressage version as well!
I lived in Louisville for 4 years and would move back in a heartbeat. So much to love about the area as well as the eventing scene!
From what I've heard, KHP doesn't want the AEC's...it would interfere with their already established (and successful) events held there.
Yes, I was referring to Tilly! She is amazing ;)
A good friend of mine has a mare by Delineator, has competed through 2* level but can be a bit hot. Excellent movement and jumping ability though :)
Thank you! I will fill out an event evaluation - personally I think the question was a bit tough that early in the course.
It was a great weekend and I will always keep Richland on my calendar,...
