Agreed with this - don't rely on Horseloverz (nonexistent) customer service to get your money back. Go to your credit card, your bank if it's a debit card, or Paypal if you paid that way.
Why do you HAVE to fly?
Anti-anxiety meds will definitely help. :)
Definitely agreed on posting signs for No Trespassing and You're on Camera.
Also I'd be baking cookies for your neighbor! Very attentive for a 16 year old!
I can honestly never say I've had an over-attentive waitress. Is it really that hard to say "I'm good thanks", or heck if you've got a giant mouthful, nod and smile?
Don't like being distracted...
Great stuff, the high omega 3s make it a natural anti-inflammatory. My mare can get a mild form of sweet itch at certain barns (near ponds, etc) and giving her 1 cup flax daily would resolve the...
I'm not a BO or BM, but I've worked in barns pretty much my whole life. If it were me, and I wasn't doing the job how BO/BM wanted it, I'd appreciate them actually showing me which stall...
This. Pay your bill just for the peace of mind you'll never have to deal with BM again.
1. Make sure hay is good quality hay, if not switch to a less weedy hay or perhaps one with more alfalfa.
2. Ad lib hay, in front of them absolutely all the time.
4. Low NSC high quality grain,...
My horses can always get off any mask with ears. No ears, they can't seem to get them off nearly as easy. FWIW!
Biggest negative is the horse probaby won't eat it. Can't say I blame them. :disgust:
I can't imagine something formulated for human skin would be tough enough for hoof. I use the cow mastitis treatment.
Yup, this. Don't soak it or get it wet, it'll make it 100x worse!
I don't know that I've never been at a barn that offered multiple horse discounts. Between me and my mum we have 3 horses (2 mine, 1 hers) - we don't ask for a discount, and we're at a pretty small...
At past boarding barns, I've seen the BO have a "day stall" and "night stall", just to try and keep things interesting. The horse would be moved from one stall to another (at other end of barn, or...
I live in a rural area. Used to live in a town with a population <600. Postal service is terrible out there, too.
Never said they would, I just hope they do.
I bought a sidesaddle from someone in MO, I'm in IL. We're only about 3 hours apart.
The saddle travelled a grand total of 2200 miles before it arrived, 40+ days later.
I kind of hope USPS...
It'll shrink way more than 4 inches. I had a wool blend cooler (not even 100%!) for my mare, who wears an 82.
Washed it once in warm water, then it fit my mum's Arab, size 72.
Washed it again,...
Unless he's been scoped, you can't say for 100% no ulcers. The vet hasn't even been to the barn.
If you already knew the cause of his behavior, why start a thread?
I think this speaks volumes. Your horse is trying to tell you something, listen to him.
Honestly, that sounds like a pretty unhappy life for a horse. No turnout, no socialization/herd time, high sugar feed, not enough hay... I don't blame him for acting up.
I'd be finding a place...
This, agreed 100%. There's zero "make me" attitude in an honest horse. If they're not doing what you want, they're confused or scared. They're not saying "No, screw you".
I guess I'd consider...
How about a goat in the stall?
I'd definitely call the cops/animal control. They should respond pretty quickly to a very large animal close to a road.
