I use one of these cheapy little things... https://www.smartpakequine.com/plastic-curry-brush-5214p
It works like a charm for shedding and as a good regular body curry. It just has longer teeth....
I'd have to disagree on the no national standard certification for a chiropractor, see AVCA website. No one should EVER use a chiro or massage therapist that is not certified.
These chiros should...
Those are like the one I made :) I am so happy with how it turned out!
222 orchids said it first! I have some Sealtex. It's super cheap. Try that first.
Notice the alcohol theme :)
Polycentric or Pollycentric?
Polynomial or Pollynomial?
Just a thought... Playing off of Polly!
How about Pocket Pony? Looks like it would fit her personality!
Super cute pony! Love him, love him, love him. Sooo many kids and small adults would kill for his "Steady Eddie" attitude.
I won't comment on the video because I think the other posters hit the...
At the show, he is slower and much more cautious. That can only be fixed with time and show miles. I agree with the other posters that advise that he needs to be fit before you show him.
Totally off topic, but the brown ones are beautiful!!!
I second anyone at Silverleaf Dressage, including Janice Mumford! She has done hunters, so she knows jumping as well. She will get you going right with your flat work!
Super cute... Just too pricey!
I think that if you're looking for something that has been schooled to 3'6" then your price may be low. That Appendix listed above has only been schooled to 2'6" so he he not been proven yet at...
I have the Donatello boots and I'm so happy with them. I don't ride in them all the time, but I did ride in them long enough to break them in. They did rub my ankle some, but that has gone away. I...
Can't say enough good things about CocoSoya Oil for those harder keepers. it has really helped my two guys to keep their "Bloom" this winter. Even their winter fuzzies are shiny :)
Back to the...
Cocosoya oil is awesome for adding weight and not energy.
Find8 - exactly what I was thinking. The kick and jerk former ride may have taken its toll on the pony. I would have a chiropractor give him the once over. When my gelding gets inverted at the trot...
I second Kathy Rowse and Silverleaf Farm. She and her staff give excellent lessons for all levels. If you don't end up boarding with her, she (or one of her assistant trainers) may be able to come...
Why would you cut his grain going into the winter?
I would imagine that he's going to drop weight considerably unless you live somewhere very mild, like Florida.
Great work... But it did take a loooong time.
Not a Canter cutie, but a cutie nonetheless... Check out Hot West on this site.
Get a vet/chiro to assess lameness issues. This sounds physical to me.
Once you have that fixed, then resume with Dark Bay Hunter's later steps.
I can't say anything here to help you, unfortunately. I am one of those kids who had trouble with diagonals. I didn't struggle with leads, but I did not really get the hang of recognizing my lead...
I like Augustus!
Horse is cute, but I agree with all the others that have advocated posting that trot.
How long have you been working with your trainer? How long has your horse been under saddle?
