The horse is adorable but is very lackadaisical about his job. Quiet and pleasant but doesn't try all that hard over the jumps. JMO. Though I adore the floppy ears!
Here's my 1999 Butet in action! Love my little saddle!
He said something that I loved, along the lines of "you keep jumping until the horse is soft and you are strong". :)
Both are lovely! The first gelding... just wow!
I am currently writing my senior paper in college, and it focuses on osteochondrosis, specifically subchondral cystic lesions. If anyone would like to share their horses' story, I'd love...
For both those who like the long spots and the deep ones:
When in doubt, leave it out!
When unsure, add one more!
My Indoctro gelding came at 5 almost 6 sticking at 16.1. A year later he was 16.3. They fill out so much too!
I know Taken had a stop at the derby at Devon. Hope he overcomes the confidence issue.
Man, Argentum looks like a tough one to stay with in the air!
I adore Big Star. He was one of my faves at the Olympics.
Wow that first one is not sound at the trot. You can even hear the people videoing wondering which leg he is lame on. Not great advertising!!
Stunning horse. I love his substance. I hope you got him!!
Please Wait is my pick. He is lovely!
I adore Scout! What a fancy guy.
I used to show against this huge ugly chestnut horse who was very obviously off. He was a flat kneed mover but very clunky and about a 2 or 3 out of 5 lame. He used to win the hack all the time.
Lovely horse!! He looks like a great teacher. Was he well trained when you found him?
I think if I had top horses and instruction for a longgg time I'd be really good. I am pretty decent and have a good eye, but sometimes I just can't put all the pieces together.
I've seen a few nerved horses and there is no visible mark. It is done through a very small incision.
$175 to clip a 12hh pony? Sign me up! Just gotta buy a ticket to FL and grab my clippers!
I think it's a little hard for the rider to be distracting when the horse jumps like THAT.
Fantastic mare. I love her story. I expect big things in the future from her and Kelley.
Why don't you save the money and ask if you could buy the demo CWD that you loved? Just a random thought!
I've seen that pony before, it always goes like that. The minute it galloped in I was afraid. Just scary.
I thought the girl who won was a great little rider with a lovely pony.
PS This is so right on! --- After a few more “Thaaaaaat’s it”, “SUper” and “byuhtiful”s, I was done.
Do you know Claire Doty? I know she did that clinic. I learned to ride from her mom Caryl when they lived in So Cal.
Interesting. Unfortunately he is not mine, so not sure if I should be giving him anything, even vitamin B. I'm not sure if it would keep him focused on his job or make him focus more on the muck...
