He looks and sounds adorable.
Question - what does "missing to a jump" mean?
What about IVIG for this for cats? Any idea if would help/work?
My dog was at the vet last week - was Rx'd Tresaderm.
14 y.o. Border Collie mix.
Dry skin, repeated skin infections. Occasional ear infection. Cold intolerant.
I asked if they...
The owner of the two imposters sold them.
They were purchased from the Hatfields.
Info on another suspicious horse: Classic Playgirl

Chall - again lovely boy you had. The last photo I could not get to work - not could I find him in the Arab datasource.
I don't think I have ever seen an ugly Arabian. Homely - yes a few....
Chall - love the horse - but that just cannot be. I would not think it possible a PB - even a part Arab -could have a nose like that.
Have you had the horse tested to verify?
Out of the approx. 200 - it appears 65 are safe. I know some of the 200 died. Where are the others?
I think his Arab breeding is pretty awesome - that the Saddlebred is also good is icing on the cake.
I think he is probably a very nice horse.
He may be the wrong horse for the OP but the...
FWIW - Nee Deep: Bay. 2007.
Sire: Sultan's Premier
Dam's sire: Medalion (Medalion to Dar to Comet)*
O/W five (or is it four?*) generations back to sires:
I recently signed up for the Arabian Horse Datasource.
To my surprise I discovered that my dearest late boy was bred to a Welsh pony - resulting foal:
"Halima's Honeybun" 1A205497
Don't have an opinion but was curious enough to look at the Arabian Horse Database. Nee Deep's dam is pure Polish. Lots of very good old blood.
Very well bred. No idea about the Saddlebred...
I have been reading the interesting updates on ABN.
Looks like folks have a pretty good idea of the registered names of the QH's.
So, I did some googling and found this.
I guess this is a dumb question.
Personally I would think that the alfalfa/bermuda mix in a cube would carry a lower risk of ileal impaction. (vs feeding bermuda in flakes).
Knowing the supposed increase risk of colic with bermuda hay - was wondering if the same risk would exist with bermuda hay in a cube.
Local feel store now carries A/B cubes - made by FSI.
Doing a little research.
(To add: Info taken from a screenshot of registration papers - from ABN?)
"Quintessaa" - Chestnut mare
May 16 2006 - DOB - owner/breeder Goslin
March 1 2007 - new...
So the two horses were registered AQHA and AHA - and had been shown in AQHA classes? That is how someone recognized them at Arab shows?
Because they had seen them as mature horses in both breed...
I don't see where there could be a drop of Arab blood in this horse:
Ridden by Punk Carter
Middle picture - no rider.
Surely through the years someone has thought to play a prank - but not actually do it - by entering a QH in an Arab show. In western events that really are the "turf" of stock horses. Perhaps...
TTSP - you are way out in left field.....
It is curious that her name is on both sets of papers.
As buyer from breeder and seller to the present owner.
IMHO I think she must have sold them to another party that did the shenanigans before...
If the mare's hormones and ovaries are checked and all OK there - could she be a driving horse?
Is she a Stock horse, TB, Warmblood, Saddlebred?
Combined driving or fine harness maybe?
Thanks so much.
Now searching for their contact info. No luck so far.
Tks. That's him. The equiline pedigree. I saw the papers when the horse first came in. Loved what I saw.
Lucky young girl at the barn has him now. He came in pretty bad shape.
I love the...
