This is a good resource for stables in Maryland:
Why not Coeur d'Amour (C-line through Contender, going back to Calypso II), standing at High Point Hanoverians, also Rosenthal's home?
High Point has bred its gray Rosenthal broodmare to him twice...
I've had some success with this -- Lucky Braids Handy Salve, on a mare that rubbed her tail. I also recommend following the prior suggestion to use a fly sheet with a long tail cover that is also...
I do this. Ride or otherwise exercise the wet horse immediately after the bath.
You'll be amazed how quickly the wet coat dries during exercise.
This breeder's website is NOT out of date, sold many successful hunters, hard to find a better one-stop-shop:
I've been using these blankets/sheets on my warmbloods for more than a decade --...
I've also had GREAT success with Soft Ride boots on a 5 year old 17.1 H Hanoverian gelding. After he severely bruised a front foot, I bought Soft Ride boots for him on the recommendation of my vet....

Look at Bascule Farm on White's Ferry Road. It's a large facility with 2 wonderful indoor arenas, good trail riding, trains both dressage and jumping, and has many wonderful adult boarders and is a...
What netg said.
I had one of these (17.1 H giraffe).
It took a while, but his neck position is gorgeous now.
Longeing in side reins also helped to build strength.
The MDC stirrups really helped me when I was recovering from a knee injury.
I wouldn't be too concerned about which pad style to choose.
Ultimately, I wrapped mine with these --...

My "forward girth groove" chestnut mare has been using successfully the Ovation "body form" shaped girth for several years now. No rubs; inexpensive; successful in keeping the saddle from sliding up...
"really seems that the horse owner has his cake and eats it to"
Not so for owners wanting a 1/2 lessee to take full responsibility for the horse while in the lessee's control.
Most 1/2 leases...
"Really? So if horse decides to be an asshole one day, takes off, dumps rider, and smacks into a fence and hurts themselves, that's really on the leasee?"
My answer = yes.
If you don't want to...
"If any injury to the horse occurs under the lessee's care and supervision, lessee is responsible for any and all veterinary expenses."
I have 1/2 leased to other riders horses that I own many...
I use one made by Ovation (e.g. http://www.doversaddlery.com/ovation--gel-body-form-dressage-girth/p/X1-02194/ ) on a 17H mare. It helps a lot. I also use thin foam lift pads behind her shoulders...
My favorite new article of riding apparel is a long sleeve, turtleneck shirt with a zipper at the neck, made out of moisture-wicking hi tech fabric. It can be hand-washed in minutes; it dries over...
My dressage colt picks are still looking pretty good after being shown on the triangle today.

Here's a training clip of a handsome 4 year old in the Hanoverian Elite Auction (No. 8).
This product (obtained through Smartpak) seems to have "cured" one of my tail-rubbing mares:
Lucky Braids Handy Salve
