My 13 year old was getting really arthritic (he basically laid in his chair all day) so we put him on Dasuquin. HUGE difference! He runs around and plays with my younger dog again, doesn't chew on...
Tripett Tripe. If mine suddenly refuse to eat it, I'll assume they're dying. It smells literally like $^&* though.
I have two so congrats on joining the Doge Nation. :)
He does all sorts of stuff with his Pasos. This is a first though.
My mare was super tight and sensitive. It got to the point where I couldn't even put my leg on her. She had turned from a well trained horse into an absolute mess under saddle in about 6 months and...
We just adopted one and she was $150. That included spay, shots, and microchip so it was a good deal. She's an awesome kitty too.
She's got a skirt AND breeches on - the next trend.
This is a great organization that helped me tremendously when regular physical therapy failed.
I swear, I explained this to people at work so many times. If you've never sat around a conference table with a bunch of IT people and discussed the finer points of assless chaps, then you haven't...
First thing I noticed too - nice horse! And apparently has a good mind as well.
Feeding the horse TC Lite aka "diet food" and making her wear a Greenguard muzzle that makes her look like Hannibal Lecter.
Equine Express. Used them several times and they were awesome.
My horse's sire was 15.2 and he throws a lot of large (for Pasos) babies. I got the pipsqueak though - she's 14.0.
Biggest one I've ever seen was 15.3, but that is unusual.
Fino horses (like the...
Probably trocha which is a 4-beat diagonal. Almost all of them will drop into that at times. It's frowned upon so you won't see it under saddle unless the show has a trocha class.
They can trot too...
Yes, they can canter and gallop around like other horses, and they have 3 speeds of the same gait - fino, corto, largo.
I'm surprised by the comments on that equine related page. Have that many horse people never seen a Paso? I especially like the person who announced it was "neurological".
Went to a show and it was like 98 degrees and very humid. Mare decided she was having none of it, dropped her shoulder, spun me off, did a victory lap by the other riders, and then ran out of the...
I have one in a 6 gallon. It's amazing how active they are if you give them a good amount of warm water to roam around in.
I tried moving one of them from a 6 gal to my 45 gal, but apparently that...
Yeah, I never noticed any complaints about the Old Spice Guy.
I really miss the Old Spice Guy.
If petting faces is disrespectful, I wonder how my mare feels when I take her ears and make gear shifting movements and car sounds?
I am a terrible person.
I wish I could help you, but I have to get all mine tailored. I love FITS, but I take them to a seamstress who takes in the baggy legs and and cuts down the length.
My Stackhouse. I will be buried with it.
He really only takes a few steps in gait - the rest is that in-between thing - so it's difficult to see if there's anything off about him. I'd like to see him under saddle (or in long lines) to see...
When he's in gait, he looks ok, but she keeps trying to make him canter so he only shows his gait briefly. The rest of the time, he's doing an in-between 4-beat canter.
He looks cute.
Check him for...
