    It depends what level you are competing in. I would say at BN and below if you can put in a nice, accurate, mannerly, rhythmical test and your horse isn't completely hollow it won't effect you too...

    I find that the conditioner takes hardly any time at all to be absorbed... it's not greasy at all. If you apply too much, then a quick wipe with a soft towel removes any excess. I would not hesitate...
