CJF is on the list, thank you!
Yes, please send them to me. Thanks!
Hi folks. A friend of mine and I were planning to do a schooling show the weekend of July 18 & 19, but that show has been canceled. We are now looking for an alternative schooling show or clinic...
Startbox was/is down and the volunteers had to calculate tests and x/c results manually.
And still nothing this morning. Boo. Guess I'll get the live report when they get home.
I know! All my friends are showing and I've been checking all day. Durn it...
Thanks for the input. Ben D'or spots look and sound like the most likely. I wonder if the speckles will fade as he gets his summer coat. I will also share the photos on the color genetics FB page...
I haven't checked his belly specifically, but they're on his neck, shoulders, face, sides, the insides of his back legs, etc. Definitely not paint or anything similar.
Link to freckle photos attached. The photos are primarily of his neck and shoulder area, but he has them all over his body to varying degrees.
Disclaimer: I hope it works. I've never used Flickr...
No. He's a chestnut horse with dark freckles, as is stated in the original post.
Thank you, but my horse is most definitely a chestnut with "freckles". He is not gray.
Maybe, but these are more like freckles/speckles, just like a flea bitten gray, and not large smudges like the Ben D'or spots.
Oh gosh, I can already imagine that this FB group will make my brain hurt, but I'll give it a shot...and will immediately unsubscribe after I get my answer. Thanks!
I'm not sure on the appy thing. Sire is IM A Bossy Mac. I'm unfamiliar with QH bloodlines, so don't know if that's where his speckles are coming from.
I'll try to remember to snap a couple of...
I got a new horse in January, so am seeing his shed-out, slick coat for the first time this spring. He's a 17 year old chestnut appendix and it appears that he's flea bitten. I've never seen that...
Woo hoo! I hope he enjoys a cushy retirement.
I meant unwind physically. ;)
Check out his newer videos. They were taken in Feb of this year and he looks really uncomfortable behind. Ugh, I wish I could take him on, but I'm just not set...
This guy is back up for adoption. Oh how I wish I had my own place. I'd buy him and just turn him out for several months to put on weight and unwind. I sure hope he finds a soft place to land. ...
The Tuffrider pads fit larger saddles, come in many fun colors and are very affordable. http://www.jefferspet.com/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&animal%5B%5D=&q=tuffrider+all+purpose+saddle+pad
I believe Dom Schramm just posted on FB (either today or yesterday) that he has a couple of spots open for training horses in Aiken.
Nvmd for now. :)
Looks like he might be slightly off in his LF...
Dorothy Crowell is coming to Muncie, IN April 5 and 6 and Leslie Law is coming to Sheridan, IN (LAZ's Come Again Farm) April 19 and 20.
Or Pirate for what they say: "arrrrrrrr". :D
I just texted you this, but if you want to stick with an 'R' name, how about Roman? Spin-off of Rome.
