I HIGHLY recommend In & Out: Year One in the Jumping for Gold Series by Barbara Moss. It's like a soap opera centered around a Grand Prix rider. Lots of juicy scenes and accurate horse dialogue. I'm...
I like how she said the horse's jugular veins were compromised from drug testing...
If any damage really was done it's from stuff going IN, not blood coming OUT
The crown is different for sure though, but does it matter which type?
I have been wanting a small tattoo of the KWPN logo on my ankle for a while now. It has a lot of meaning to me (my heart horse was Dutch, I'm Dutch, I'm also a Leo, the lion has some...
I'll be graduating in May and moving back to the area. I had horses on the hill for about ten years, and did a few A shows, mostly in the equitation and jumpers. I've been at Centenary in...
I have a 99 deep seat and I love it. My friend just bought a recovered 85 or 86 from Beval for 2k  but its beautiful and looks almost nicer than mine!
I know the earlier models are in more...
The horse is adorable but is very lackadaisical about his job. Quiet and pleasant but doesn't try all that hard over the jumps. JMO. Though I adore the floppy ears!
Here's my 1999 Butet in action! Love my little saddle!
He said something that I loved, along the lines of "you keep jumping until the horse is soft and you are strong". :)
Both are lovely! The first gelding... just wow!
I am currently writing my senior paper in college, and it focuses on osteochondrosis, specifically subchondral cystic lesions. If anyone would like to share their horses' story, I'd love...
For both those who like the long spots and the deep ones:
When in doubt, leave it out!
When unsure, add one more!
My Indoctro gelding came at 5 almost 6 sticking at 16.1. A year later he was 16.3. They fill out so much too!
I know Taken had a stop at the derby at Devon. Hope he overcomes the confidence issue.
Man, Argentum looks like a tough one to stay with in the air!
I adore Big Star. He was one of my faves at the Olympics.
Wow that first one is not sound at the trot. You can even hear the people videoing wondering which leg he is lame on. Not great advertising!!
Stunning horse. I love his substance. I hope you got him!!
Please Wait is my pick. He is lovely!
I adore Scout! What a fancy guy.
I used to show against this huge ugly chestnut horse who was very obviously off. He was a flat kneed mover but very clunky and about a 2 or 3 out of 5 lame. He used to win the hack all the time.
Lovely horse!! He looks like a great teacher. Was he well trained when you found him?
I think if I had top horses and instruction for a longgg time I'd be really good. I am pretty decent and have a good eye, but sometimes I just can't put all the pieces together.
I've seen a few nerved horses and there is no visible mark. It is done through a very small incision.
$175 to clip a 12hh pony? Sign me up! Just gotta buy a ticket to FL and grab my clippers!
