I sent a couple of you videos from the FEI TV site. I hope they work for you.
Do you think this guy was a splasher?
I can totally sympathize. In my case, I'm getting older and I don't bounce as I used to. Then, a couple of bad falls took some of my confidence away. I know what to do with my exuberant horses,...
Me too! Works like a charm.
Saw this ad today ---looking for home for Anatolian, but it is in Florida.
She looks like a Foundation Shetland (American) - Silver dapple color. Doubt she is a mix.
I have found that Keith Seeley is on the cutting edge of treatment for founder, even for "sinkers." Has the hackney rotated? How much?
I have used pelleted bedding (over rubber mats) for years. I am very happy with them. When I clean (twice a day), I take out the soaked bedding and rake the dry stuff over the top of the wet spot. ...
I fixed it
Haven't read the entire thread, so don't know if anyone else posted this.
Here are much better details of the parade incident.
For amazing information on Founder, go here:
I have witnessed even sinkers rotate back up, but it takes dedication on the part of owner, vet and farrier.
I have a hackney pony who has had a carriage accident in his past. He is trained to the max. That has been evident in the ground work. He is a piece of cake to collect. He is soft, willing, not...
I met a great friend of mine when she posted an ad on Craigslist in the farm and garden section, for trail riding buddies. The one thing she stated that was very important was that they had to have...
Congratulations on your Paso Fino. He is very, very, cute. I love my two paso finos. They are both 14.2h. I only trail ride with them, but they are so much fun and fearless.
I like the barn...
Bumping this one up since I'm thinking about getting one.
I use it on my sheltie and on my two German Shepherds. I haven't had any issues with it other than that my sheltie will give a bark at odd times. (Vocalization is listed as one of the side...
I am in Parrish, FL. halfway between Sarasota and Tampa. I have a 3-horse trailer and I ride a paso mare on the trails. Always looking for trail riding buddies.
I am in Florida also. A little south of Cartfall. In West Florida (Gulf coast).
I love this pic taken at Colt Creek, which is one of our state parks.
I find them from time to time. They look perfect, but dead. My horses kill them. I wouldn't know how they get there, but I heard an awful commotion one night and found my biggest horse stomping...
IMO, you look great on her. I am a trail rider and I choose my 14.2 Paso for the trails because tall horses put you up in the branches. Trails are much more fun on short horses.
Hello, I have pasos, driving minis, a driving shetland pony, a 16 hand horse who I used to work in dressage. I have only one butt, so I just can't get around to them all.
I am a half-hour...
I sent you a private message.
A film taken from a streetcar traveling down Market Street in San Francisco
in 1906, a few days before the earthquake/fire destroyed the area.
I found it fascinating. The horses, people,...
Peanut hay has nothing to do with peanuts. I don't know why they call it peanut hay, but it is a legume and can be used as a substitute for Alfalfa. I use it all the time and the horses love it.
This is a good place, clean, well-cared for horses and a good group. Mostly trail riders, not kiddie place. I have kept my own horse there at times for easy access to the forest trails.
