Oh dear God buddyroo...that's mortifying. I like the idea of candles too. I'll have to ask my son what scents she likes.
Oops, meant to say, she's 23. I like the mani/ pedi idea, but she lives about 45 minutes away and I'm not sure where she goes.
We haven't gotten terribly close, but she's a sweet girl.
Son has been dating a girl for several months, so I feel like I should get her a little something for Christmas.
I was thinking a hat/glove set, but that feels a little too impersonal.
I took DS out to dinner for his 25th birthday in August. We both got carded. The waitress said they have to card anyone who looks under 30. I'm 48, so it felt great.
DS doesn't appreciate it....
Yes, I'm an Arbonne Consultant. No, I am not pushing my business. But I have never found anything as effective as the skin conditioning oil. It's like a vial of miracles.
Before you bake your bread, heat a cast iron pan in the lowest rack of the oven while it pre heats. Once it hits temperature, put in your bread, stand back and put about 1/2" of water in the pan....
I have a Windows phone and I loathe it. Can't wait until April when I get my free upgrade and can pick something else.

Try living with a thyroid disorder, then tell me it's just simple calories in, calories burned. It's not that simple even for a "normal" body.
So glad you created this thread. As that generation dies off, I think more people will forget. It's painfully embarrassing to hear what the younger generations don't know or haven't been taught.
Never seen that, but you could cut out the bottom of an aluminum pie plate.
Not my SO, but my son. He was raised correctly, moved away and came back with the most disgusting table manners. He makes so much noise when he eats, it turns my stomach.
Edited because I forgot Sebastian.
Friends have a Fergus and an Angus.
I lost half my hair due to a thyroid flair. Came out in chunks - have to use baby barrettes and pony tail holders.
If you were losing it, you'd notice the difference from normal shedding.
I like old fashioned names...
Honoria, Rose, Esther, Lydia, Patience, and my grandmother's name was Margareth. Tristan, Victor, Henry, Duncan.
Funny, when I named my son, I wanted something...
Son got fired today for dating a coworker. She gets to keep her job.
We used to do a repeat of Thanksgiving - turkey, stuffing, etc until my one sister got a bug up her butt about it. Now we do surf and turf of some variety.
Same sister (self appointed matriarch)...
Sounds like the biology doesn't matter to your heart, so go with sister. :)
Mason jars filled with cookie base, pancakes, hot fudge, etc. Tie with a pretty ribbon. Sometimes I even cross stitch a topper that goes between the lid a screw top (glue it to the lid). There are...

Misuse of I/me
Rubs me raw when reporters use the word cops instead of police or officers.
what a beauty!
Hysterical. Now I know what to do with my unused open front boots.
