Ok - I'm going to be the guinea pig for ya'll. Just bought a tub to put the Fatlinger on. She's not IR, Cushings, or laminitic, but would really like to have her lose a little weight and have those...
At our barn Remission has become the go-to for everything from the 28yr old retired jumper to the Fatlingers. It's got magnesium that seems to help with cresty necks and muscle soreness (made the...
Orvis for getting out the really scrungy dirt, Mane & Tail shamppo and Conditioner for maintenance. I can get M&T about $2 cheaper at the grocery store than any horsey place.
I have a Haflinger -...
They have a trial period :)
In training! 14.3h Haflinger mare. Rider is my DD and 5'8"! I'm only 5'4" and much shorter legged:)
I told my DD she was NOT allowed to take her OTTB back out on the trails with me after they beat my Haflinger and I at a Judged Pleasure Ride last year...
Daughter's first pony (Max) - "Poopy" because he always pooped before he got on the trailer!
Daughter's OTTB (Moonpie) - "Princess" "MP" "PP", because she pees in the crossties
I used to feed the Fatlingers Quiessense and then switched to Remission as it was a little cheaper. Like the Remission because it also has some good "gut" stuff in it.
My first thought when seeing the canter on these WP horses - is it LAME?
Your horse is fine, it doesn't need anything.
I, however, now need a new keyboard because I spit coffee all over mine from reading this thread.
I think COTH should get together and start a...
Also try this:
Made a huge difference in cold backed, OTTB brought back to work. Was...
Miichelle - My haflinger mare is very similar in build to yours. What's her breeding? Honey is 14.3h and has never had a problem carrying me at 5'5" 170lbs for 20 mile trail rides, or my daughter...
Thanks so much for the review! Always nice to hear/see reports of places to go.
I use it with 1/2 pound of McCauleys M30, basically the same as sublime with great results. Pony is healthy, shiny, fit, soft crested.
Glenwood Park, Middleburg on Sunday for USTRs Benefit Ride. It's become somewhat of a family tradition:)
We were going to Ft. Valley, but you must have taken the last cabin! LOL!
We are going...
Bite him back. Really hard. On the nose. It works because thats how another horse would respond.
Send your Stubben back to Stubben North America in Troy, Virginia. I have heard from several saddle fitters that they do great work.
Thanks MODS! I've been taking a lot of flak the last few years for buying a saddle with a horn. Now my USPC eventing wannabe, past pony hunter princess of a teenage daughter can eat my grits! Yeah,...
There was just an ad on Virginia Equestrian.com a couple days ago.
Why do you feel that you should add something? Is she gaining/or losing not according to what you want?
I always give the minimum required amount according to the feeding lable to ensure horsies...
Because it's EXACTLY what I've been looking for and it's brand new! I'm even afraid to put it together, I might get a horse hair on it:eek:
Seriously though, I'm wondering the best initial...
Looks like the Manassas Battlefield? What group do you ride with? Looks like too much fun!
