Just an FYI: Even the Score made 29 starts (9 wins, 1 second, 9 thirds). He ran at ages 3-6, competing at the very highest levels. He was a sound horse.
I'm a big believer in judging the horse...
I thought it was a little slow to get going, but once it did I enjoyed it enormously.
The phrase "you know what I mean?" drives me crazy, especially when it's inserted after every sentence. Nothing will make me shut down a conversation faster.
I think he's adorable.
I'm really looking forward to it.
And I love the fact that it's going to be performed live for television.
The War Fronts aren't late maturing. Could be that Data Link takes after his sire.
As for the racing market chewing up and spitting out late maturing lines...it's a popular stereotype but buyers...
I was also thinking about private catering. Something like that wouldn't involve a lot of start-up costs, possibly just the price of materials (food.) Could he find a small not-traditionally-catered...
Considering that his stud fee is 150K and that there were very very few outside seasons available, I don't know that good sense enters into it. ;)
Good to know. :D
War Front's oldest offspring are only five this year. As Laurierace said, they haven't had time yet to do anything (but race.)
How adorable! I am insanely jealous. And the two of you look great together. :)
Best proposal ever.
He looks terrific. Have a great time with him!
You're lucky to have such wonderful neighbors. :)
I have no experience with Biglaw but plenty with Big Business and my life bore striking similarity to yours for a number of years. The main difference was that my husband really enjoyed the work he...
My two smooth Collies would be Quarter Horses. They're both laid back, easy going, up for anything, and always fun to be around.
I think it's against the rules to post a thread like this without pictures. ;)
What a lovely tribute to a special pony, from a special owner.
I saw that earlier. They're wonderful!
I know it's just a typo but this really made me laugh.
I'm glad it all turned out well for you! It sounds like you got the best possible result. :)
Those videos were wonderful (and very sad to watch.) Thank you for sharing them.
I think she's lovely! And her JC name made me laugh out loud.
What a gorgeous picture of both horse and rider.
Thank you for that! I'm glad to have the new information.
