I googled the name of the breeder.
Sad story. Apparently she died in 2009 and her family was placing her beloved horses.
Poor mare. Waiting for update.
Not that it matters now, but would be nice to be able to read her papers.
Can anyone do a screen shot, rotate and post it here?
Wonder how old she is.
Yes has been happening to me. Will try FF's advice.
If that does not work and I cannot get back on - is there something going on with the BB that our safety software is picking up on? Anyone...
Not the same thing, but my computer security Trendmicro has been warning me since yesterday that this site is not safe. Weird. A few times signing on - like now - the warning did not appear.
I may have fallen off the planet, but IIRC humans are not being cloned and issued SSN's. Thinking of cloning humans gives me the creeps.
So cloning is "not cool" for humans but it's OK for...
Thanks all help.
Researching I found this:
At the end under Dosages - a mention that some (I guess just a few) horses and ponies...
Thanks. I am thinking either no Perg for now - or try again to see dose he can tolerate. As PB said either .25 or .50 mg. Are those doses too low to be helpful?
I started him slowly in...
Thanks BR. He is 26.
I am leaning towards not putting him back on Perg.
I am trying to remember what I have read about founder risks.
Cushings vs IR. The risk is higher for IR than PPID?...
Thanks. DT yes would like to know about your friend's horse and Perg.
Again recent results - non fasting - mid morning draw:
June 2012 Cornell - breakfast alfalfa cubes

Update in first post.
Tks. After four months of giving myself PenicillinG injections (bactericidal) I realize I cannot go that route.
I am preparing for my next doctor visit - to try a different treatment plan -...
I am having difficulty understanding this.
For example with Doxycycline and Zithromax.
Both are said to be bacteriostatic but can be bactericidal at higher doses.
hence MIC and MBC values? ...
I have noticed something strange going on in my horse's dry lot/paddock past days.
As in - where is the poop? Today I saw the six barn ducks in the paddock - and it appears they were eating...
Chaffhaye alfalfa is listed at about a 50% moisture content.
Any idea how much the alfalfa would weigh without that much moisture?
The bags are 50 lbs. How much dry alfalfa would that be in a...
Wysong has an extruded feed. Don't know if you can get it in Canada.
Thanks all info/input.
ProudTBSpotted - thanks your kind offer. I am on the other side of town.
BO will get some Standlee pellets this weekend. You feed them dry to your gelding? How many...
K - well that is one of the concerns with shoes and pads.
You can also be in a "melluva hess" if your horse does not like the shoeing/pad package. Some don't. IIRC the pour-in stuff can be...
Interesting. K - that reminds me - were you shown how to check the digital pulses?
Another thing. IIRC - years ago a horse that I helped with - after he foundered - seems someone was explaining...
Is your horse barefoot now?
I agree with FHF - I think he is effectively saying back up the toes and lower and back up the heels.
On toes - which can be confusing - whacking/backing the toes.
That means nothing is...
How do you know if your horse bolts food?
Horses are supposed to chew the pellets, right? Choke comes from unchewed pellets?
I have been watching and listening to my horse...
Thanks. Lurena would be great. Just too far to try to schedule lessons around school and work for the family.
I was wondering about Jill Gould. IIRC she is on 1488 - probably too far as...
So it would not be a good idea to feed the Standlee pellets unsoaked?
FWIW my horse has COPD and in the past received soaked alfalfa pellets/cubes. That is my concern about the dry...
Trying to help a friend. Looking in area between 1960 and Tomball and possibly further north.

Hoping to find an instructor that also has...
5H and DT - I keep thinking about the mare and her mash. No hay or cubes, right?
I don't know if you have seen or tried the Chaffhaye alfalfa that my horse gets.
Being that it is alfalfa...
