As a breeder, I am in favor of this.
Thank you, Summer, for all of your work.
I've had both.
I find the Bogs warmer and have better traction.
I wore my Muck Boots out and replaced them with the Bogs and am very happy with them.
I do wear them daily for barn work.
If you are on Facebook there is a group called Carriage Driving Classifieds that always has carriages listed.
I think there are a couple of other for sale pages as well for driving equipment.
Several posts have mentioned the Harness Horses being so "hot".
I know quite a few in the combined driving world and they aren't hot at all. Sensitive and forward thinking, yes. But not what I...
This has probably been covered, but my search skills have failed me.
What is the difference? I know they are different drugs.
Is one preferred over the other? For what symptom?
Would you use...
I bred my Flemmingh x Rubenstein mare to a Harness Horse stallion and have the two foals. They are three and four years old.
They are being started very carefully, learning to stretch over their...
Oh my gosh, I feel your pain.
My four year old has pretty much always been balanced...but the three year old....oh boy! I have pretty much cringed ever day when I look at him for a year! I know...
I ordered the sample, it came all squished out in the packaging.
I did order it though. I think it worked for a couple of different horses in training/showing circumstances.
We have the Lister Star and the Double K. Both are great, do a really good job.
The only thing we like better about the Double K is that the clipper part and the motor part are separated by a...
Rambo blankets with neck covers were what we use and rubbed the manes out!
Although the Rambo Wug worked perfectly for the Warmblood with the less upright neck conformation.
I used regular blankets with neck covers.
Both the horses I used them on are built more uphill with a more upright neck.
Both of them had the lower third of their manes rubbed out. :/
Do you have a link for this? Timely for me as well, our recip mare is getting Regumate for at least a couple more months.
Word is that he received a yellow card at the Shady Oaks CDE for beating the pony in the stall.
I have strong opinions about this individual, based on personal observations at public events and...
That's awesome, good job.
I'm so glad you and your family are having fun with your pony!
You have a good point, but yes, we have the Lister clippers and all the horses are fine with them.
We just need another set and are trying to decide if we should go with the KK. Thanks for...
If you had the choice between the Lister Star and KK clippers, which would you chose for body clipping?
Please limit the choices to these two.
He is being sued for injuries to a horse in his care, and he's suing them back!!
What a despicable human.
I'm quite surprised by the number of people that would just haul their horse to a barn and leave it overnight with no kind of assurances.
The trainer may be all that and a bag of chips, and the...
Let me get this straight...
You knowingly join a Facebook group, with very clearly stated rules and guidelines, and then come here, create an alter and post how awful you think it is.
It's always been my understanding that the lateral pair of legs stride together, instead the diagonal legs. Yes, pacing.
It has nothing to do with going laterally sideways.
I had a horse that...
I have a Boxer and a Pit Bull. The Boxer is 12 and the Pit Bull is 2.
They are wonderful friends and I wouldn't hesitate to leave them alone together. Milley the Pit was 11 weeks when we got her,...
Is Fairfield near you? Paul Maye is there and he teaches.
We regularly haul 12 hours to events.
I take four of the blue water containers.
I hang water buckets for the horses in the trailer. The do drink a bit while traveling.
I stop three times...
There are some that think that single horses move better without breeching. At that level you want your big moving horse to have every advantage.
Some think it looks better, cleaner lines.
Check these out!
