    Maidens are wonderful candidates for frozen semen, as long as it is good semen. I have bred maidens with frozen many times and almost always successfully.

    I had a client who was able to get foal insurance from 3 days of age, but I do not remember the company she used. That will be much simpler than in-utero insurance.
