Almost always it is the seat that is the problem. Your seat is not absorbing the motion, that's why your hands/arms are bouncing. Lunge lessons and no stirrups will help tremendously.

I agree with the others. If your core is not absorbing the movement and motion of the horse, it will become apparent in your extremities. Bouncing hands and legs.

At his age, I think you mean "Depends" not panties.

No problem here, ZA.
But, do you really think hundreds, if not thousands of posters would be expected to comply with your request? Especially when most of her posts are copied to the pile for your...
-
Oh my, you're right. Ooops!
So, ZA; how come you don't mind reading them over in the cat box, but have such an aversion on this forum?:lol::lol:
-
If you'll notice, ZA, the only one quoting her post in it's entirety was the one sniping/whining about her post - Freedom.
-
Oh well. :sleepy: I guess you'll just have to deal with it then. :)
I would imagine some people would find her posts just that. Because you don't, you expect others to comply with your...

I agree with this as well. Slc was on topic, whether you agree with her position is irrelevant. I've seen plenty of GP riders that have a tendency to "fling their legs" as well, although to me that...

Next time, ask to see their videos.

You mean someone actually PM'd to rag on you? Sheesh! Don't let it get you down. You're not going through anything that most haven't experienced at one time or another. It's really not bad at all. It...

Please, OP consider the source. Battles will get you nowhere. Going to war with your horse is not conducive to what you seem to have in mind. Unless you are after this type of training;

Depending on how your leg lays on your horse, the from about 1/2 calf down should be hanging straight down, not curled up around the horses barrel. The seat, thigh, just about mid-calf are really the...

Just watched the first vid. I know how difficult it is to even post correctly when the horse is bouncing around like that with his head in the air. Any chance of getting yourself some lunge lessons...
-
This reminds me of a really nice little mare I was riding for a while. Her owner had a very bad habit of just cranking her head down/in while trying to "put her on the bit". When I first started...

A very, very astute observation. ;)
-
I agree with the other posters as well, especially slc. :)
From your description it sounds like you are really getting into a tug-o-war trying to get this horse to flex and bend. It also sounds...

I am chilling...and enjoying. They have their version of fun and I have mine. Funny you think "I" am the one seizing the thread. I wonder why I never hear a peep from you about their...
-
I think I can deal with the wait.:lol: I mean afterall, it's not like you are the second coming, you know? Or maybe you are, and I've been missing all the "breaking news".:lol:
-
Actually thom, it was just as serious as your requests for others to display their credentials, a habit you have of doing when others disagree with your opinions.
-
Wow. I didn't know such things were so top secret, classified. OMG, a real GP rider you are. Wow! A degree of respect, huh? You must have heard the saying - respect must be earned, not just given...
-
Well gee, thom, that's not quite how I do it. But, to each his own. Please, convince me that you really, truly want to "converse" with slc.:lol:
-
Neither. Are you her official #1 fan (you seem so, so interested in everything slc) or her official hound dog/stalker. Cause we know for sure, just as the sun will rise, that you will be there [edit]...
-
And why do you care? Obviously, she found the responses, well most of them, of interest. Do you always interrogate O.P. like this - or just a select few of your favorites.
According to the list...

This is laughable. By their own admission, they have been using this horse (as is) for around two years in these shows. I think the only reason they are "concerned" now is that they got caught.
