I would never steal a ribbon (even a Gucci ribbon!). When I was showing though, it was always rumored that one particular trainer stole ribbons to put on display. Nobody ever proved it though.
Another vote for Akene!
I really like Sunset (and the ones colored like him/her). But, no thanks, would not like to buy one :D
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks everyone for all your kind thoughts. I am feeling much better today and am glad she isn't in pain anymore.
I've never had to make a thread like this before...up until now I have not had to deal with the passing of an animal. Today though, I got a call from my mom that it was time for Belle to go. They...

I love my Butet. Great saddle and has held up remarkably well over the years.
I do want to echo what has been said about homeowner's insurance. Your insurance company might have a problem with this...or they may simply ask you to sign an exclusion form. ...
Well, I hope it works out for you and that you run into that trainer at a show on your lovely new mount.
ETA: With a blue ribbon in hand.
My iPhone 4 is glitchy and I'm not due for an upgrade yet.
LOVE pizza with anchovies.
I've had UTIs my entire life -- ever since I was a baby.
In 2011, it was just one after another. Constant pain, constant antibiotics. Doc did a cystoscopy to find out what was going on and found...
Well, this thread has inspired me.
I walked my dog barefoot yesterday and then jogged a very tiny bit.
I'm surprised at how much I can feel it in my calves today!
Whoever suggested Sophia, I like that.
My dad's grandmother (I think) was named Olive Jane. Went by Ollie. I like how old-fashioned it sounds.
Another stranger rooting for you from NC.
Just give an independent insurance agent a call. They'll be able to broker out a special event policy for you.
Oh my, I love your dress. So unique! I agree that your everyday paddocks would be great.
I wouldn't. ;)
Aaron Vale is one heckuva rider (and a nice guy). All I'm saying is that I've seen him ride in these Puissance classes and he is the only one who makes such a show of the landing.
I am very surprised. Never had anything but good service at Farm House.
I know it's probably impossible to maintain good equitation...
Right?!? Where can I get one?
This is what I was thinking. Is it possible you have some show nerves going on? Horses can pick up on nervousness and it makes them a lot less willing.
Well, that's ridiculous. Regardless of what your working student situation is, you have the right to take lessons from whoever you want (off trainer's property, of course).
I love the CO GR8. Not the greatest ventilation, I know, but it has such a classic look.
I do out on the trails. The horses sure seem to appreciate it!
