Because it's comfortable on a trail ride if i'm not riding my TB whose back is not comfortable in it.
I had a vet out for my mare who couldn't walk on one leg. I told them she just got her feet done and shoes replaced a couple days before, so they took the hoof tester to her feet, but didn't take...
Misty blue - very handsome! I love the blue eyes with the eyeliner!
Hundred acres - i cant see your pony on facebook :(
I take criticism better than compliments. Riding, academics when i was in school, whatever.. like you, i just don't want to disappoint anyone. I don't really have time to get into every detail, but...
Maybe the vet had a medicated flea and tick shampoo? I know there are a bunch at the petstores, but not sure which is the best..
And good for you! What breed(s) do they look like? How old do they...
What an amazing barn and farm you have! Love the grass turn out! Like another poster from Mass said, not a whole lot of that around here..
Your barn is fancy, but more importantly your ring and...
Where arr you located? Are there seasons where an indoor is needed?
I'm in sort of the same situation with my 3 year old (skinny) boxer mutt... She doesn't eat her dry food well, but loves cheese and pretty much any other type of "human" food. She vomited up...
Bigger horses seem more difficult to fall off of when the rider is taller.. a bigger horse may also be more comfortable handling a taller/heavier rider who is a beginner = uncoordinated/unbalanced..
She's beautiful, i was curious if you were going to try to pass her off as a shepherd/husky or something. :) How old was she when you got her? Does your insurance cover her?
RacetrackReject - what exactly is your German Shepherd crossed with?
There is really no place to put her by herself, sectioned off with electric tape or otherwise?
And what would you trade her for... a horse of lesser quality with better herd manners?
I found it slightly annoying.. and I know what "pimp my ride" is.. i can understand it's appeal.. to the younger generation especially, but it was just annoying
As "grandmothers" do :)
Jingling all the way, for you! And they say you should have what, $15k in the bank to have a child? They musn't know about vet bills (small and large alike!)...
Wellness here for my 1.5 year old with a sensitive stomach.. on wellness, no more liquid sh!t !
My barn is a "horse garage"... he likes automotives and mechanics :)
I like Palladio for the best jumping technique. I think his babies have tidier front ends. I don't know how many do the jumpers, but he seems scopey enough to have my vote hands down.
I just have to say the video made me smile... the mare decided she wanted to walk over the poles, and baby followed and figured it out.. really cute and sweet.
I'm excited for the TB Constant Star from Leighton Farm!
Yay for the TB Constant Star from Leighton Farm!
I can't really see how that would make sense biologically. Aside from a better knowledge as time goes on on what type of stallion is needed to improve the mare.
I'd take the job :)
"Bleccch, I hate that habit. The sound of slurping is one of the VERY few things that grosses me out."
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Nothing is more annoying in the early hours of the morning...
