Here's the spot to submit questions ahead of time:
I received the following email today from USEF. It includes some details about the subject matter, and there is a link to submit questions in advance.

AN INVITATION TO ATTEND...
Very nice! :)
What horse show is that?
Oof. It's too bad the weather is being so uncooperative this week. Those kids are probably getting lessons in proper bathing techniques along with the riding lessons.
I saw some pictures on Facebook last night that looked pretty darn bad, but I guess the storm went through after the show had finished for the day. Devon is notorious for bad weather that seems to...
I do love the part about the person running down from his office to ream out the rider in the rotunda- until he saw it was GM.
Jumper riders must send in entries with a nominating fee for the division in advance, but they declare their intention to enter the individual classes the day before each class. That's how it works...
^ The show would need a pretty good crystal ball to pull that off, since the riders don't have to declare for the Grand Prix until Wednesday.
I wish someone had a video of it!
You can find orders of go on the Devon horse show site, but they are usually only up for today and the next day.
The Grand Prix will be on www.USEFNetwork.com but they are being a little coy about what else will be shown online.
There is a free app on iTunes for the Devon horse show this year with results, schedule, orders of go, etc. :)
He looks pretty balanced and athletic in motion for a baby on a longe line. I would imagine he could do a lot of jobs well if he has a good mind. :)
Interview with the winner after the class:
Whatever system they have in place seems to be working quite well for her.
That is hilarious about Todd! If not exactly tactful.
Good for Katie! She seems to do well with her plate pretty darn full. :)
I will have to watch the class tomorrow when I get home....
Why can't people just look at the USEF rules?? They are available online for all to see for free. The rule for ponies applies to the first jump of the course, not the first jump of every line.
What happened to Merry??
I always enjoyed her posts, and her tales of horse adventures with her sister (Beezer?) and her mother (?).
What a fantastic story! Loved it. :)
It would be SO great if we could implement a universal stupidity check at horse shows, and spin the ones who can't pass it.:yes::yes:
Not all horses will get their shoes pulled for the hack, just some. Not everybody has a contender to win the hack, and not everybody wants to yank the shoes off for the one class.
It has nothing...
Or any age, for that matter!
Good luck and have fun in Florida!
Note that you had to specify those things when her name came up.
And that thumb issue is not fair enough for her, IMO.
There is no signal to continue to the speed phase. You would only get a signal to stop if you had a fault in the power phase.
So if the course for the power phase is 1-7, and the speed is 8-12,...
Ugh. I read an interview with her in a magazine. She's very pretty. It's too bad she learned how to talk.
