I haven't read the previous responses but my bet is that they all read something like this:
Some days I get sick of cleaning stalls and when it's freezing outside I may rather sleep in or stay on...
I normally wear a tall and these are a decent height on me. Id say they run tall.
Well this never happens! I actually prefer the cheaper boot!
The MH active rider is bulkier than the Bromont, but much taller and more comfy :)
The regular calf Bromont seems tight. Id never...
And by "meatballs", I mean this:
Our opening is this weekend. Braiding is strongly preferred I think. A friend told me "hunter" braids aren't necessary and meatballs will be fine. ; ) Thank god because I cant braid.
Thanks all. The MH active seems to fit me well. Ive got the brossard on order to compare the two.
I think I got this one year too! It was HUGE and barely even resembled a horse!
Ariat Bromont vs. Mountain Horse Active Winter Rider?
The MH Active seems comfy but not sure about the materials. It's not leather but probably looks fine from a distance. ;)
He definitely said double dose, all at once.
I'm waiting for someone to tell me, just call your vet back, idiot ;)
So he should have just said get the Panacur Power Pac then?
That's my confusion, it is sold in single doses so I thought, get two does, give at once.
Jeez I'm good at confusing things ;)
I specifically asked " Do I give it all at once?" He said yes.
Ive never used panacur so I'm a little confused.
What's the diffrence between a panacur double dose and the 5 day power pac?
Vet suggested a double dose, based on fecal count, for thin TB with unknown history.
Well, she's probably just at the 50 day mark, which is where I was told I'd see a difference or not. The ground and footing have been quite favorable lately. I haven't noticed her being off at all...
This is a 6 yr old OTTB I'm looking to buy. Has had very little training beyond - go fast.
Prior vetting, their vet said he has a small Medial Tibial Osteophyte in right hind stifle. He is...
Ah. They have nothing online right? I'm no longer living back east :(
Can I find these two for under $200? (Online)
Thanks everyone. Great tips here. Since I have to redo this pastures fence anyway, I just want it to be right and do it once :)
I figured they could be turned out in the indoor for the first...
Update: Vet administered Osphos today. No adverse reactions except minor agitation over 15-20 min. period.
I like the pipe fence but I know its pretty expensive.
Do we think 5ft is high enough?
Quick questions ;) I'm putting in new fencing for the baby paddock. It's probably an acre or two, rectangle shape, nice level area with a few trees for shade and scratching ;)
Plan on woven wire...
This is about what I get for mileage too. Pulls a two horse just fine. My trailer is pretty tongue heavy so I get a little bounce sometimes but otherwise no issues.
We've had well over 10 inches of rain in the past week. Barn has a musty smell and a there is a light cover of mold on most of the barn walls. On outside of stalls and exterior walls mostly. Don't...
My local vet also said Tildren is not readily available right now. Haven't checked with the University.
We are just now adjusting shoes to wedged eggbar. I want to try one thing at a time to...
That's it. Osphos (clodronate injection)
Im in the same boat. Want to try one but so many factors to consider.
My vet told me there was a new drug out there that's suppose to be an alternative to TILDREN but without some of the negative side effects (Calcium).
Does anyone know the name or have any...
