Two Thumbs Up!
Ditto what everybody else said. Bought mine off of a picture and a quick talk with the resident trainer (TB OH facility).
Best. Horse. Ever.
Concorde's Best! Super stoked.
Just got call. Found someone! I think it's fair pricing and they know him at NV.
Now. We just need to fast forward to Saturday!
I am looking to get a horse I adopted from New Vocations - Marysville, OH - to outside Charleston, SC or Aiken, SC.
I have breast cancer and my treatments prohibit me from going myself.
No. There is no change.
He is hanging out. With a big shoulder. Supposed to have the specialist from Auburn back coming soon.
He is getting 1 gram of bute every other day. Helps keeping...
Oh this sounds like Cheval Gris' horse and I hope she will chime in here.
I have him now.....sweet and saintly as can be BUT he does suffer from ulcers and EPSM. And he tries to kick/buck -kick...
Sounds like he just needs to slow down his brain and then all that feed will actually not be burned through so fast.
I have had 3 OTTBs like yours. They just needed a chill-pill...
Thank you ! Thank you !
So there is another "symptom" - he has some patchy sweating on both sides of his neck and two spots on his hinney. Been happening since Sunday. And only after mid-day.
Monday the pathology came back to local vet and it said sarcoma.
Told no real treatment. Be prepared to make arrangements.
Tuesday the specialist from Auburn sees the report and says maybe...
Went to see the Bubbs yesterday. He is currently not at my farm as we thought a quarantine might be in order.
So here are some pics. He looks horrible. Positives are that he still is eating...
Well we spent about 3 hours with a specialist from Auburn.
And got nothin'.
Lots of ultrasound, aspirated the side - nothing. The chest only showed old red blood cells. Did see an abscess in...
I, too, have the HDR and LOVE it! Looks great and is made really well.
Thanks for all the support. The worst is *NOT* knowing!
Here are new symptoms as of Saturday:
Big on both sides of jaw:...
And this was yesterday:
The one from the front brought out blood with puss and a chunk of something.
The one from the side brought out nothing.
Don't remember if we drew out of the mushy lump from underneath.
Yes. We aspirated all the lumps.
It was not drawn after exercise.
Two thumbs up for Recovery EQ!
May: Thought horse had been kicked in side and bruised ribs.
June: Took to vet for ultrasound since the area on the girth behind his elbow was extremely sore. When I took him to clinic also...

I "hired" her. She re-did my feed program for my four boys ( all with a luandry list of issues ).
Best $ I ever spent.
I personally LOVE it.
My horse had a horrible accident with a rotational fall, de-gloving of his leg and over 100 puncture wounds - with a pretty nasty one straight through his lower leg.
I used it 2x a day for a week then every other day for about another week.
Worked like a charm.
So terribly sorry for your loss. I worry about all the lightning in the bad pop-up storms in our area every day.
Gallop on, Phoenix.
There is this:
I like to say it with a British accent!
