I have foals by Herzensdieb and Furst Romancier in April and May. I can't wait since these are the very first foals from frozen semen my mares have had. Can't wait!:)
Go to the AHS website and look up inspection sites.
If you like mares, they often have a number of just started horses participating in the mare performance tests. They also have futurity classes...
Someone earlier asked about Herzensdieb's frozen semen. My mare got into foal with one dose. Looked good!
She has had it removed safely. It was the size of a large goose egg. She is so happy now- so happy she got in foal right away!
We have a black dot! I know it's early, but it's my first ever with frozen and I'm beside myself.
My Mercedes/Mr.A/Weltmeyer has a black dot with Herzensdieb for a 2014 foal!
Has anyone used this stallion's frozen? Any pregnancies?
My new mare came with a problem. When she arrived, it looked like she was in season all of the time. Then came the uterine culture that was positive, but the infusion and flush didn't work. Sent to...
Not yet, but in the next week or so. I'll let you know. I've met him in person and he is very nice.
I currently have:
Rob Roy. - 6 doses
Damsey. - 3 doses
Hampton - 3 doses
Herzensdieb- 3 doses
Licotus-1 dose, just used
Licosto 1 dose
Scolari - 3 doses
I think that I know what our poster is asking.
For instance, when I was pregnant with my girls, I carried them more up and down, while the boys were more horizontal or like lying down.
I am taken with the stallion Bordeaux (KWPN). Has anyone seen or own any offspring? The oldest may be just getting ready for saddle work. TIA!
So sad to hear the news- Godspeed, Maryanne
I can bypass some of this conversation with a suggestion or two.Dacaprio has given large eyes, a pretty head, nice neck, correct legs and friendly personality. Mine aren't under saddle yet, but like...
Good. There are a large number of straws per dose. Just wondering about the logistics of that...
I am very interested in this stallion for one of my mares, but does anyone know of a pregnancy resulting from frozen?
I have always admired Negro and lamented that he wasn't available to Hanoverian breeders. But now that he is approved, I find I do not have a mare to use with him!
The way it goes, I guess!
Wow, Edgar! The US is lucky to have him.:tickled_pink:
I am also addicted!
I have questions about two stallions- does anyone have successful Dancier pregnancies? Any pros and cons about him?
I have already decided to use Diamond Hit with one mare,...
Congrats, Linda and Stacey! I sure love my Benidettos.
Has there been any success with Diamond Hit or Desperados foals out there? From frozen?
Is there another transporter besides Hubbard that I can contact to ship a mare? TIA
Softness in pasterns- tendons are not as tight and as a result, are not as upright. Allows for a very nice ride but take away from longevity.
I have a mare that is longer and softer in the pastern...
Do his get have nice feet and legs- no softness in the pasterns?
Congratulations! You must be so pleased with what Soprano is producing.
