Ariat boots are not the quality they used to be :(
My Granddaughter has the 'Scout' paddock boots. They are just a cheaper version of the Heritage. I'm not even sure the uppers are leather.
Agree with all who said to remove the divider... or get a Stock trailer....he needs to spread his feet wide.
I have a Stock and most horses chose to travel on a slant. Some prefer backwards. My...
My Granddaughter has the Ovation. She loves it.
I have had several Tipperary and love them.
And... we both wear XS.
However... I cannot tolerate her Ovation (or Troxels) ...and she hates mine....
I think they are both too big. JMHO.
But.. you can shorten the straps.... do it on the end where the clip is.
You will have to cut it off at the 'slider' piece.... then shorten and re-sew the...
Don't let this kid ride her. Green on green is dangerous.
Do you have any liability insurance? Probably not a good idea to teach the kid if you don't!
On one hand you say the horse is green....
Do you have a competent trainer/coach?
How does he go if someone else rides him?
What kind of bit? Bridle?
Are you sure the saddle fits? get a qualified saddler out to check the fit.
Small-hole hay nets.... I have 5 chubby ponies :)
All are barefoot... no risk of shoes getting caught.
The strings are removed from the nets and I clip them shut with a large caribiner.
Yes... get three nets and put a bale in each one.
How would you even go about lifting 3 netted bales into your feeder??
Have a couple of other people ride in the saddle to see if it feels crooked.
Rubber boots, too.....
I am in Eastern Ontario, but some folks here get Andrea Bresee here once a week.
She is in the TO area.
This. I have this setup on a couple of gates.
You may have to rig up something on the post at each end of the gate so the tape goes high enough and doesn't sag down and touch the fence.
I have a medium pony gelding and a small pony mare that do not get along.
They have been living in neighbouring paddocks for 6 months and still hate each other.
The gelding has lived...
I also live near Kingston.
The girl is very lucky not to have been seriously hurt.
Sadly, Queens 'Homecoming Weekend' has been a drunken street party for many years.
My 13hh round pony has the Prestige Lucky and we both love it.
I don't have a CAIR saddle, but why wouldn't you use it?
I find those CAIR panels very hard and unforgiving.
I use a Thinline Ultra under my Prestige.
3 = tree size
17.5 = seat size
Numbers under their logo is the serial number
don't know about the rest
Like both these ideas...but does the dirt collect on the zipper more if you have this stuff on them?
Volunteer ...Therapy dog... work with my Greyhounds...Old Age homes/schools. We're usually out 3 times a week. 4 times this week.
Walking. Try and get 15k steps every day. Love my new Fitbit...
I had a #2 tree on my JES Elite for my 14.2 Connemara/QH. His back was on the short side.
I know a couple of kids who had the same saddle #2 tree for their 13hh and 13.2 ponies... they just had it...
I would also look into your building laws... you will probably need permits.
Up here any of the CoverAll types have proper footings and are almost like building a 'real' structure, except the...
A neighbour calls hers 'Costalotta'
Ours is very boring 'Mallard Landing' ... we have lots and lots of Mallrd Ducks in our ponds.
If he is wheezing he needs to see a vet and probably go on some prednisone for a couple of weeks, then go on something for maintenance. OmegaAlpha make some good products.
