In a recognized Horse Trials, does every ride have to be equipment checked by the ring starter? Or just 1/3 of the rides in the class like dressage shows.
  2. mixed bag in my barn!

Garcon's grand dam is Fanfreluche and his grand sire is Secretariat. His sire was the foal born after the pregnant Fanfreluche was kidnapped and found in a backyard pasture.
    The Mighty Quinn's...
  3. 2 words for you . . . .

Ice cubes. Really numb the area before you have to pee. My sister who was an ob/gyn nurse said that what they suggested for new moms with stitches.

  5. My dentist is coming tomorrow . . . .

I live near Mystic and Larry Cobb is coming tomorrow to look at my new horse. Where exactly are you? Larry's great, the horses love him and he comes down this way every 6 months or so.
  6. Question? - do you need to show with a browband?

I'm on the search for a 17" browband for my new guy, at least a 16 and 1/2 with little luck.
He actually needs a 18 and 1/2! So I was thinking, is it a requirement to ride with a browband?

    Yes they are . . .

Our experience with my husband's horse convinced me to buy another thinline pad. Garcon has very wide spinal processes (according to our saddle fitter), which required a year long saddle search....

    forget the Surpass

Try Voltarin, it's a script from your gp, at least 1/3 the cost of Surpass (your insurance will cover it) and is identical in chemical composition. My my mare and I both use it.

Equisearch is offering a 2 for 1 special for $69.00. I believe that's a four month supply. There's also a money back guarantee so I'd like to know if anyone has used it and seen results.

    Has anyone thought of this?

Equestrians in our area are trying to open up multi-use trails to horses. The big stumbling block is, you guessed it, the big piles of poo. I'm not going to go into the things we all know about -...

  22. This quote says it all . . . .

I'm not sure who posted it, but I've kept it in my on line file of CLOTHism's:

"Be so entralled in your own improvement, that you don't have time to criticize anyone else".
