Be prepared to make some modifications to your fencing. Both of our Catahoulas will scale a fence in a heartbeat. We fixed that with a strand of small animal hotwire across the top. I think you'll...

This. We are one week out of TTA surgery and so far, so good. It was never a question of "Do we pursue a fix?", but we are lucky in that we have savings and didn't have to make a decision based on...

She's been a good old girl, definitely part of the family. We'll do what's best for her and her injury. I'm thankful that we won't have to decide based on finances, to a point.

    Thanks Marla!

I will definitely ask about assisted rehab. My girl doesn't do confinement well and can be quite the stubborn mule, so I'm expecting rehab to be a challenge.
