Who is she training with now?
I have never had to pay for my own housing as a groom. On the road I was given a hotel and when we were in KY long term in the summer they got me an apartment that I did not pay for.
Wilhelm is great I'd highly recommend him
Rising cost of ownership and prices of these horses have played a large part in why we no longer have 3'6" schoolies. It's more profitable to have clients buy them if they are at that level.
I think this a great idea and I'm thrilled Lainie and David were able to put it into action
I would highly recommend Catherine. She is absolutely wonderful PM me for more information
I would say the most elaborate I've ever seen was at the TWH Celebration. They have full on huge porches, fountains, landscaping literally everything you can think of and at the cost of usually...
That would be great, but like findeight said the housing, shipping, training would be very expensive.
I don't care how bad the judging was that does not give any trainer BNT or not to do that. It is extremely unprofessional and rude. It sets a terrible example to young juniors as to how to behave...

I got a job using y & g. It was a really great job and it worked out well for me.
Anyone know the website I can see the results of HSBB? I had it once but seem to lost it. Thanks!! :)
They will probably turn you away. They've gotten a bit more strict of checking for numbers or asking you which barn you're with.
Fox Meadow is a very competitive barn. If you want to win and be competitive and have the checkbook to do so have at it, however I do not think you would find it to be the best match. I think...
Please PM me. We can chat about local barns :)
The one horse she was riding looked so young. I thought it was very odd too
It is common for new customers to be charged a higher rate. I'm at a barn where I'm charged less because my horse and I have been there when it was lower, however the new clients coming in are...
No, they should not. I know two top horses like that one equitation horse and one a very nice hunter.
The absolute best thing is to do loose knots and vet wrap them.
Fern Walk was bred by an old trainer of mine. He is an OTTB.
To be honest, all my horses have found me. My current horse which is the horse of a lifetime I found because I called the trainer to ask her about a mare I wanted to buy and bring to her. The mare...
Red Coat Farm in Hawthorn Woods is absolutely amazing. I've known Mary Goldman and her daughter Lisa for over 15 years and they are nothing but amazing. Lisa's riding and achievements speak for...
This is random, but you mentioned you board at North Middle Ranch.. I have a friend that just moved out there and was looking at it. Do you board at the main or north ranch?
Okay I'll attempt to break mine down:
Board/training- $11,000 per year
Farrier- around $1400 per year
Insurance- $1300 per year
Vet- around $1000
Shows (entry fees, stall, trailering, coach fees...
I bought a used Devoucoux for $1500. It requires some shopping around, but it's worth it!
