I had this happen, but fortunately I had just loaded up my horse at home and stepped on the brake to shift into Drive when my pedal went unopposed to the floor!
Well, I figured that if I tell them they can't feed the horses a couple of carrots then I am the mean neighbor lady. Right now, I am the nice neighbor lady, and I get help from many of my neighbors...
We have some golf cart horse treaters too.
However, I went the opposite direction...
I walked out with a big smile on my face and talked to them.
I told them all about my resident equines.
Did the vet see the pony yet?
Would love to know why the pony is "cribbled".
I have bowed out of Dressage and my GMO.
Mainly because I found it difficult to obtain consistent instruction if I wasn't in full training.
Great instructors that I was aware of were not...
Thank you! Please let me know if I can do anything to help.
I can try that. And I agree with you.
The overextended one tries to schedule stuff with me but also complains of having no time, no sleep, too stressed.
The one with lots of changes keeps asking if she's making the right decisions and...
Thank you - this is helpful to me.
It is hard because the over-extended one wants to schedule things with me, the one with lots of changes coming keeps asking me what she should do, and the one with...

I know my normal self is not supportive.
I currently have three friends going through rough patches.
One just completely overextended in life, one having to make huge changes, and one getting a divorce and struggling with alcohol.

If we can line up a permanent home, I can go pick her up and have the vet out and get her rehab started (if she's fixable). I just cannot keep her permanently.
Ah poor thing!
I was *right there* this weekend at my friend's camper.
It is about an hour and a half from my home.
I could probably go get her but I cannot keep her.
When I first got my new horse, he acted similarly when being groomed.
I backed off and did minimal grooming with a sheepskin mitt just where necessary.
Now, he enjoys it.
I think it was a little...
Very cool! And my dog really enjoyed it too.
Where is the bored, inattentive owner loosely holding the end of the lead rope? No muddy legs? No flies that need immediate removal or the horse will DIE?
My husband has had this twice.
The first time he was literally pacing in the driveway at midnight growling.
The only thing that helped was going to the ER and getting massive amounts of medication.
I sent you a PM
Also with a farrier...horse trimmed in exchange for a kid's bike. :D
Neighbor lady takes manure and leaves me tomatoes. I think I am the big winner there!!
Instead, I use these hangers:...
Love!!! Thank you/curse you for the introduction.
