My son is heading off to university in a month and going to live in residence.
Any words of wisdom from those who have been on this journey? What sorts of things should I send with him?
Try not to let him get under your skin. Picture him talking in a high squeaky mouse voice or in some superhero undies. Don't give him the satisfaction of getting your goat.
If he wants to change...
I saw the muscling under her neck as a sign she might not be the easiest ride, especially as a potential eq type horse.
Although, must say, I love her colour.
I feel for you. I have severe osteoarthritis in my feet. Two things I've found helpful are using Back On Track socks and sleeping with a BOT horse tendon wrap under my feet.
Hang in there!
It's just not your stepmother. I'm getting the same guilt trip from my own mother. Your sister can do it, you just don't want to see me enough. Yes, my sister can do it because she's a sahm and...
Hmm. I'll hazard a guess about what he was thinking.
Train the owner now that he needs to have his dog leashed and under control at all times. Just like puppy training, instill good basics in the guy.
LOL! Thanks for the stories. I didn't think anyone could top smoky Juicy Fruit but the farter and moldy BO might just do it.
My son was saying that, when you click on a website fare, they keep 'cookies'. The site updates with higher fares each time you search.
of stinky co-workers. I need someone to commiserate with.
My co-worker in the next office is a heavy smoker. Obviously doesn't smoke in the building but the smell is overpowering. Just walking...
I worked at one place where the boss used to make someone cry at least once a week. It was brutal.
I have a Barnsby Milton that was fantastic on my large pony. I'm about your size and she had a flat, short back. It is a 16.5 but open seat. Lovely hunter saddle. Don't have the pony anymore.
TSC in our area only carries the 'lite' Roundup. Home Depot, at least, carries the heavier duty, locked up, stuff. The fellow at the cash register at TSC told me to use vinegar and dishsoap because...
Ditto finding a room to rent part of the time. My ex had a 'boarder' in his house, for years, that did that one or two nights a week.
Have you watched your trainer groom him? What does the trainer do differently?
Must be different in the States. I'm in Canada and the strongest Roundup I seem to be able to get here is $30 for a smallish container. Sure wish I could find it cheaper.
Yikes. Poor guy. How long would it take for hooves to get that bad?
That's my plan, too, this summer!
If cost of clean up is a consideration, Roundup would be out of the question. Just bought some and, wow, is it ever expensive.
So, you're burning this much each week and have done an acre and half in 5 months? You have 4.5 acres to go? That's another 15 months of burning every week-end. Yikes. Your poor neighbors.
Unless it is your profile picture, why is spouse even seeing them unless they are going onto your page and looking for/at them?
If spouse doesn't want to see them, they can stop going into your...
Congratulations! All the best in your new home.
A 30-ish year old with no horse experience running Equine Canada. A breath of fresh air or a disaster in the making?
From the article:
"This isn’t the first time Eva Havaris, the...
I would take it back to the store, let them know that the padding didn't squish down as you were told and ask them what they suggest you should do about it.
Thank you so much for the suggestion about the angled stirrups JBD. Rode in them tonight and what a huge difference. I could actually walk when I got off. I never would have thought of trying them....
