I throw mine in the washer/dryer about once a week. So far no issues.
I want you to dye it and post the results, but mainly for my own selfish curiosity.
If you decide to I'd suggest testing the dye on the underside of a flap or someplace not visible first.
OP, too bad you can't suggest Clingy McClingerson come onto this forum, now that you've pasted her e-mails. Although letting her read this thread might be a passive way to have done with her...
I was seriously about to say... Was he kidding? Mt. Holyoke is a Seven Sister school.
ETA: I'm noticing the "wink" face. So I think that was a joke.
I'm going to visit family for about 10 days in Cville in August and I thought I'd see if I could take a few H/J lessons while I'm over there. I know the names of a few barns in the area...
She's too busy laughing down at us from lazy eyelids and riding her TWH on the trail.
Yeah, I thought that's why the pony thread was closed. Because people kept arguing and getting personal. :(
I also love cleaning tack! I like to do it while watching TV. (But I like to do pretty much anything if I can watch TV at the same time.)
Oh, ha, okay - sorry about that. I remember the dreaded "summer job" search.
See if you can dig some super grody bridle out of a tack trunk and bring it back to life - people may be into that to...
Or to anyone who loves Peanut Butter Hoagies? :D
Anybody have pics of this sort of bridle?
Well, there are a few kids at my barn who have a little tack-cleaning business, but I don't know what their prices are or how well they do. I agree that offering a package deal is most attractive -...
I have a pair of Stubben leathers with those fancy sorts of ends on them. I don't have them on my saddle as I've been darkening it and they actually don't match anymore, but I think they're pretty....
Let's bring these back!
Seriously, thanks for the link, Kryswyn. Some really pretty stuff at that site!
That is a lovely suggestion!
It's so yummy! :)
Fingers crossed for a good outcome!
My problem is that I'm never really sure what my face is doing.
I think it looks like this: :)
But it actually looks like this:
Seriously, just move to A's barn. All this soul-searching is counterproductive, IMO. If A will take you, move - it's not your responsibility to determine what's "best" for them, just what's best for...
I need to print this out in case I ever actually go to a horse show. So easy to be a "don't" these days!
I think GM says your toes should not point out at an angle greater than 45 degrees. I ride with my toes poked out too far and I get fussed at for it.
How do you like the Wellington? Do you have a picture? I'm considering one.
Ha, I was JUST about to say this! She seems much less laissez-faire than that siggy would lead one to believe.
And SY, as someone who looks down on information gleaned from the "COTH chat forum,"...
I think a basic bridle will look best on her - I would say no to bling, just because it might distract from her natural beauty!
I've always heard that nude or flesh-colored undies are the least noticeable under white pants. (Same for bras under white shirts.)
Ha! Me too. At 24.
