Fabulous, so glad you found her!!! :D
Awww that's awesome!!
She might have been trying to get home, there are stories of this happening IRL, not just Disney.
When I was in HS, I had a JRT named Milo. My mom and her then husband went trail riding about 40 miles away and took all the dogs, and best guess is Milo jumped out of the tack room before the door was shut or someone didn't do a good head count. Anyways, no Milo when they got home. I was devastated. My mom turned around that day and went back and called and called, nada.
Three weeks later, he walked into the friggin' yard, my mom called me at school and got me out of class. He was horrible skinny, had gone from a chubby 17 pounder to skin and bones, the pads of feet were raw and the insides of his ears were black (bruise) and he wouldn't let us touch his head for a week or so, but he was home. Oh and he was FILTHY. I wouldn't believe it if it didn't happen to me. No idea what happened to that dog, but he had to cross a major highway (Interstate 85 for those of you in the AL/GA area) at one point. He lived another six years or so very happily.
