I'd be carefull with the Schneiders Bridles! I have a cob size one for an Arab and a full sized one for a Warmblood and on both the sidepieces of the noseband are too far forward (stiched on). They interfere with the bony part of the ceekbone right by the eye. Weired fitting!!!
On the other hand, I have a 30 year old (well used) Passier bridle with the leather in perfect condition. Off course the quality could have gone downhill....
I have an Anky (snaffle) on my pony and it fits him wonderfully and the straps aren't particularly thick. Might be worth looking into the Anky's :)
Agree with the reccomend of Jerrys
excellent workmanship excellent service
you can mix and match the pieces to measure
You could probably call them and talk to them about your particular fitting issues and they will make it happen
I had a QH with a short cobby head that was a real challenge. The Jerry bridle was wonderful.
I got a Thinline double for a steal this summer when a local tack shop closed. It fits my Trak mare's fairly refined head very well, and I love the snaffle reins so much I switch them back and forth from the double to my plain snaffle bridle.
