Where to buy wheels?
I have a little buckboard wagon with bike wheels and I'd like to replace them with wooden wheels if possible. Where do I begin to look? Can you even buy wooden wheels the size of bike wheels?
We do have an Amish community nearby, maybe I should just start there.
The local Amish community sounds like a good start, to finding a wheelwright who can build what you want. Being able to take your vehicle right to the shop, might be handy for the builder, seeing what hubs are needed, etc. You will need to know that hub information if you shop for wheels at sources further away.
Witmer's Coach Shop in PA, is a source for wheels. Your size might be a
stock item or they could get them built for you and ship.

Another person recommended these folks, they were happy with small wheels they got there.

I am trying to picture what you possibly own when your description is, "little buckboard wagon with bike wheels". The only thing I can come up with is a fine harness buggy http://www.jeraldsulky.com/ProductDe...Code=Horse+FHB
Please don't tell me you are thinking of putting wooden wheels on a fine harness buggy and driving it o'er hill 'n dale :concern:
