I got my premium plaques in the mail several weeks ago, still no papers! I beleive that they arrived late year too. You might want to contact he office re: the plaques.
I have not yet received either papers or plaques.
It usually don't arrive before December-January. I would not be very worried to have not received it yet.
Holly told me a few years ago there are multiple factors that affect when papers go out.
First of all, they have to get the parentage verifications back from UC Davis, and this can sometimes take a bit of time, esp. during the height of inspection season when the lab there is getting a deluge of requests for DNA analysis from so many registries.
Sometimes there are problems with the parentage verification - e.g., samples don't contain enough DNA to do an adequate analysis, or the verification process doesn't return a high enough probability to verify the reported sire (or sometimes even the dam). It can also cause delays if the sire's DNA is not in the UC Davis database, and the office has to obtain a report from another registry or samples from the stallion owner - some registries and SOs are easy to work with on this issue, some not so cooperative.
Then, once they have the bulk of DNA verifications in, they have to change the computers in the office from German to English to process the registration passports. They generally wait to do this until after the German foal papers are issued.
It also can depend on manpower in the office. The lady that used to handle the bulk of NA registrations is no longer there, so they have had to train replacements over the last few years. I believe at least one of those folks took on the NA registrations in addition to her other duties, so she gets really slammed at times.
At any rate, I would think the best way to find out the status of your papers or plaques is to contact the office.
Edited...just spoke to Holly. She said she is handling issues with registration papers, but she is getting ready to leave for OK for the stallion test, so she advises folks to contact her today by phone or send her an email with specifics. I believe she said they are now processing the NA papers in the office in Germany, so most of them should be getting mailed out before long.

Had one sent 4 weeks ago and the second set arrived yesterday. It took even longer last year!
My two came probably almost a month ago. I thought they always gave out the plaques at the inspection. That's where I got mine.

Recommend those of you still waiting contact the office, although you may not be able to get any info until after Jan. 1.

Yes! My customer recieved papers for the colt I bred a couple of weeks ago.
I got a plaque at the inspection, but am waiting on papers too.
They give out the plaques at the inspections if they have them, but they can only carry so many around with them. If there are more premium foals than anticipated at the earlier inspections on the tour, they can run out of them by the time they get to the later sites.Quote:

Holly can probably verify the DNA status, but the office in Germany is closed for the holidays (I think till Wed or Thurs next week), so she won't be able to check on the processing status of passports till then.
