So, I'm really getting up there - second half of my 50's, and haven't worn makeup FOR YEARS - other than mascara, occasionally lipstick and blush. I have medium tone skin, but my arms and face tan easily.
Got wrinkles, getting many more, and having returned seriously to riding the past 14 months, I'm out in the sun more often. Use a moisturizer with a sunscreen, nevertheless my skin becomes more uneven when outside so much. Even in the cold months.
Of course being around the barn, and just working around the house, it's not practical to wear makeup. But I'm about to go back into the business world, and need to start looking more professional.
Am guessing the next thing is to step towards that dreaded section of the department store where the vultures are swirling with their bottles of amazing lotions. Bottom line is, I need to start wearing foundation, and makeup more often. I do have sensitive skin, so have to watch what I buy. Would also rather not buy the most expensive stuff on the shelves.
