Has there been any success with Diamond Hit or Desperados foals out there? From frozen?
Crosaidore Fram had a DH last year and Judy Yancey had one a few years back. I have a dose in my tank I plan to use in the future.
I bred two successfully, both et's, both on the first try from Diamond Hit frozen.
I've had two Diamond Hit foals from frozen semen. Both conceived on the first try.
I have had 2 Diamond Hit pregnancies from frozen, 1st try in each case. Happy with the results too.
I too am wondering if there have been any pregnancies with Desperados frozen semen? Anyone tried?
Will echo what others have said about Diamond Hit - I know several people who had very good success with his frozen semen, including someone who used in it in 2007 on her Hohenstein mare, and a few others who used it more recently.
I don't know about Desperados, although it seems I recall hearing about someone who tried it without success last year. Can't remember the details though...
Slightly off topic, and I have nothing to do with this horse or this auction, other then "looky-lou" interest, there is a Diamond Hit included in the Pacific Sport Horse auction, in case you want to see what he's throwing.

I too have used Diamond Hit successfully
Have a Desperados....;)
no I havent used it yet.
I have seen quite a few, and in my opinion, he def need a leggy/modern mare with a good hindleg. was thinking of trying him on my Londonderry mare.
