Maybe the "layperson" doesn't want to digest scientific publications, but not all of use are laypeople. You've said nothing that is even remotely convincing.
Read the conclusion in the chapter you cited:It's a good effort and a nice collection of old studies, with a very detailed discussion about "stress", but there's nothing compelling there to say that magnesium plays a significant role, in spite of a very strong effort to make it fit.Quote:
